I do a lot of trimming of my tomato plants. Pruning and cutting off the "suckers" to get a good harvest. These scissors cut cleanly and are small enough to get the small suckers on the stem. Easy to wipe clean with alcohol, stays sharp so far

These work great—the blades are nice and sharp and they will do the job well. However, the handles are cheap, lightweight plastic that feel more like a toy than a tool. These will do for someone who’s looking for a cheap option, but are not quality enough for me to be willing to gift them to someone else.

I have had very many nice purchases with Japanese sharp implements. Scissors, sushi knives, and chef’s knives. This Bonsai pruning scissor is not in the elite five star category. It’s a solid “B” average. It’s not as sharp, precise, or well-made as it could be but it’s good enough.

I have not used this pair of scissors for gardening task but I recently used it to cut a garden hose and it worked great. So, definitely the scissors are strong and good quality. They bend and wobble while cutting flowers. Useless, do not bother with these.

Being into the Bonsai hobby for a few years, I am always on the lookout for good pruning scissors that don't break the bank. I am familiar with the Bonsai Supply company, and they typically have excellent merchandise. These scissors are quite good. They have a nice feel in the hand and a precise point to make small cuts cleanly. They seem durable and well made. These are good for small cuts. Do not use for thick branches.

More comfortable and easier to use than the typical tiny scissors. Using it around garden.
