BEBE BASK UNIQUE WAVY SCALLOPED RATTAN TRAY--SMALL HAND WOVEN RATTAN TRAY--19 X 9 X 6.5 IN SCALLOPED WICKER TRAY--SCALLOPED RATTAN TRAY--SCALLOPED BASKET TRAY.I received this STRIKING BEBE BASK WAVY SCALLOPED RATTAN TRAY yesterday and as I took it out of the box I thought, WOW! I was expecting it to be a more darker neutral color since I own many Rattan items and they have been consistent in being a shade that they are beautifully neutral making them blend in wherever they are. Believe me I am not one iota disappointed with this one at all. I just was in love with this beach vibe style with this being useful for multiple different ways that this aesthetically pleasing lighter colored hue that I've seen for the first time. As I said above I knew how I was going to use it in my bathroom vanity for my overflowing current container overflowing with cosmetics. Sometimes they fall out due to me keeping adding to it. As I was typing this I thought it would also look nice on a huge rattan circular tray that must be over 50 inches in diameter that I bought 5 years ago that has a raised lipped edge with two handles that covers my glass coffee table. In the middle I have a huge white vase two feet high creme/white vase full of a blueish purple silk flowers that is on a metal tray with wood handles that is this same rectangular shaped WAVY SCALLOPED NEW BEBE TRAY. I have a beach themed beautiful candle on the outside, and a photograph facing my couch. The reason that I think this BEBE BASK hand woven tray that has won at least ten different awards by Vietnamese Women hand made in their homes reminds me of the beach is it's WAVY Style. Plus the lovely lighter shade reminds me of confectionery sand on my vacations in the coastal beaches in the Gulf of Mexico. By making that comparison it is the HIGHEST COMPLIMENT I could give it, since I thought of beautiful memories when I saw this GORGEOUS SCALLOPED UNIQUE WAVY TRAY. It might not strike others to know what I meant. EACH TRAY IS ONE OF A KIND, woven by hand with their purpose of making them for Mothers deserves MUCH MORE THAN FIVE STARS! They are not flawed at all, if anything they are EXTRA STURDY WITH HANDLES ON EACH END OF THE LONG RECTANGLE OPPOSITE ENDS. This is one of the other lucky discoveries that I'm so GRATEFUL to have seen, and able to order it. I love the idea that these BEBE BASK WAVY SCALLOPED RATTAN TRAYS ARE so STURDY that it will last a lifetime, and the scallop shape extends from the entire circumference from top to a deeper bottom than my other RATTAN TRAYS. The more that I think about it that when I said this is BEAUTIFULLY EXQUISITE with MULTIPLE USES that I can think of ENDLESS WAYS THESE CAN BE USED FOR I'M GOING TO BE IN TROUBLE SINCE I COULD USE A FEW MORE. These would be more stable for serving food while carrying it from the kitchen to the living room or bedroom. I noticed that these are deeper and firmer so that I'd be less likely to spill the food since these are more stable. You can display your favorite decorations with this giving a CLASSY & SOPHISTICATED ELEGANCE. What I love is that this line is baby safe made by Mamas for Mamas! I REALLY LOVE MINE SO MUCH THAT I"M GOING TO ORDER THREE MORE LIKE THIS & CHECK OUT OTHER PRODUCTS THAT ARE SPECIFICALLY MADE BY BEBE. As I was typing this I decided that when I order more one will be used for serving food or even beverages. I have another Rattan tray with scalloped edges and this one seems less likely for me to drop it with the much deeper basket and firmer stability. One last thought I came back to finish this review after looking at some other styles and I LOVE THAT THE SALE OF THIS LINE BENEFITS THE VIETNAMESE TALENTED WOMEN WHO DID SUCH AN EXCELLENT JOB AT IMPRESSING ME. THESE ARE MADE WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND WILL LAST FOREVER! PLUS THEY RISE TO THE LEVEL OF LOOKING GORGEOUS WHEREVER DISPLAYED! They will tidy up any area of ANYTHING you need a TIMELESS LOOKING CONTAINER THAT LOOKS STUNNING!

Nice looking basket but quality control needs to do a better job. I received this basket with the broken handle and the package was double boxed, and the damage does not appear to be from shipping. I'll give super glue a try.

The photos do show a very light color but I wasn't expecting it to be quite so pale. It is, however, extremely well constructed. Extremely. I don't think I've ever seen such a sturdy wicker object in my LIFE. This is not hyperbole. Whoever made this tray, honestly, deserves a raise for their craftsmanship. The scalloped edges are also pretty cute.
