My home is somewhat large and is primarily floored in hardwood. I bought the Bumper for a floor attachment on my Beam central vac. As shown, the head is black. My baseboards and door casings are white. Over time, they became white/gray with a lovely black stripe. I saw the Bumper and immediately ordered it. It was easy to install, and it works perfectly. It needs to be put on precisely, I have found, since it seems to interfere with the suction somewhat if it hangs too far down on the attachment. Easy enough fix: magic Velcro that will NOT come off the head, no matter how many times you need to tweak the Bumper's position. Best thing, anybody in this household can now vacuum without fear of reprisal for scraping black on the baseboards. (We just repainted the entire first floor.) I love this product. I just wish I could convince someone else to do the vacuuming once in a while! Oh, and the hand-written "Thank you" on the packing slip from the vendor simply made me happy to support the company and its product.

So wish I had bought this before all our baseboards got so scuffed up downstairs. After we redid our baseboards upstairs my wife asked how we can prevent them from looking like the scuffed up ones we removed, so I bought this bumper. That was a year ago and our baseboards upstairs still look like the day we installed them. We bought a new vacuum and I would not let our housekeeper use it until I put a new bumper on it. The velcro strips that they give you are strong and stick really well, and the bumper can be molded around curve of your vacuum. When I was at my sister's house I saw that her baseboards were scuffed up too so I forwarded her the link to this and she bought it and thanked me.

The Velcro is so strong merely going near it with the bumper it really adheres! Readjusting is not uncommon. I did follow the suggestion to apply Velcro to brush and let it sit for 24 hours. Worth it because the bumper will be a bit more permanent in its place! A good thing too.

Ordered product. Did not fit even though I measured. Returned product in original packaging. Seller took $8.38 restocking fee, thats 40% restocking fee. I was never told there was going to be a restocking fee of 40%, return slip never mentioned restocking fee. Beware poor fit and outrageous restocking fee.

Did not git my vacuum that well as I was between sizes

LOVE this because my cleaning lady was destroying my furniture with the vacuum. This makes all the difference and wish I'd known about it years ago.

Velcro did not stay attached to the plastic head.
