I'd give this a 4.5 if I could rather than 4 but the option doesnt exist. They work really well but the taste is absolutely terrible. I'm normally not one to mention things like this but the vaguely fake fruit taste mixed with xylitol after-taste and DGL bitterness leaves a really uniquely strange and terrible taste--also, half a star off for using xylitol when better, non dog toxic options, exist (if you didn't know, xylitol is highly toxic to dogs--not that you'd give these to a dog anyway, but accidents could happen so I'm keeping it as a way from my pug as I can) I think they'd be better off without xylitol and maybe erythitol instead and perhaps making this mint flavored --the mint would likely taste terrible too but probably wouldn't get that garbage quality. I'd ADORE a licorice/anise flavored one and I imagine that could well hide the DGL somehow? I don't know. Anyway, I'd buy these again--they work well and are also a nice way to get a small Magnesium boost. The magnesium carbonate in them turns into magnesium hydrochloride apparently when in your stomach and this seems to be a bio-available form.

I have Baretts esophagus due to excessive reflux. Thes tablets take care of reflux and the burning in my esophagus better than anything out there, and I tried everything! Good product, great company, they will help you with ultra qualified staff on the other end of the phone. SteveB

It does help. I want esophachill, maybe? I don't know, I do the esophageal guardian too, And I'm on a ppi. All I can say is this helps but I'm glad I'm getting scoped on both ends by a doctor soon anyway

It works quickly, but may take up to three tabs for relief.

These chewables are awesome. I have barrett's esophagus and can't afford to get indigestion or gerd. I take a probiotic every morning and I suck on 2 of the esophocool tablets when I go to bed at night. If I have a flare up after eating I'll chew a couple but usually the 2 at night is all I need. I love the taste. These have been a God send for me. I've been taking them for about a year and won't be without them. Thank you Life Extension!!

This is the second bottle that i have ordered. When i feel the reflux, it helps to reduce it. Also look into low stomach acid, and i took the HCL capsules along with this when needed and it's making some improvements.

I like Life Extension products! I’ve used Esophacool for a few years and whenever I get indigestion I just chew a couple of tablets and it’s gone.

I like this product because it works to reduce acid reflux especially at night before bed to allow me a good night's sleep.
