Great heart rate monitor
First off, the accuracy of this heart rate monitor is incredible. It precisely tracks my heart rate, giving me real-time insights during workouts. Whether I'm running, cycling, or hitting the gym, the data is always spot-on.The comfort level is top-notch. The strap is soft and adjustable, making it easy to wear for extended periods without discomfort. I barely notice it's there, even during intense sessions. One of the most remarkable features is the advanced metrics it provides. From VO2 max to running dynamics, the Garmin HRM Pro Plus gives me a deep dive into my performance. It's like having a personal coach with me at all times! The connectivity is seamless. It pairs effortlessly with my Garmin watch and other fitness apps, ensuring all my data is synced and accessible in one place. No more manual entries or missed workouts – it's all automatic.

Accurate, Comfortable, and Packed with Data – Worth It
I’ve used chest straps from Polar and Wahoo before, but the Garmin HRM-Pro Plus stands out. It locks onto heart rate fast and stays locked — no dropouts, no drifting, even during interval runs or circuit training. What really makes this strap worth it is the extra data: running dynamics, cadence, vertical oscillation, ground contact time — all syncs straight to Garmin Connect and gives way more insight than a wrist-based monitor ever could.Battery life’s great (over a year easy), and swapping it out is way simpler now with the no-tools battery cover. Strap’s comfortable too — snug but not irritating, even on long workouts.Whether you’re training for performance or just want reliable tracking, this strap delivers. No gimmicks — just solid, accurate data every time.

Game-Changer for Accurate Heart Rate Tracking
This heart rate monitor is absolutely incredible. I have full sleeve tattoos, which makes my wrist-based heart rate readings from a smartwatch extremely inaccurate — especially during runs. I prefer heart rate zone training over pace-based training, and the inconsistency and lag from my watch were driving me crazy. This chest strap solved everything. It delivers instant and reliable heart rate data with zero dropouts. The strap is comfortable to wear, stays in place during intense workouts, and the battery life is excellent — it just keeps going. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price. For the quality and performance, it’s a bargain. One important note: you need to connect the HRM to your watch directly through your watch’s settings — not just through the Garmin Connect app — to get it working properly. No downsides from my experience. If you train seriously or just want reliable data, this is a must-have upgrade.

Accurate and reliable
I bought this after my pol@r started glitching more often and more annoyingly. This has been working flawlessly, I wish I bought this one first. The strap doesn’t feel as good as the pol@r but the electronics have been much more reliable with no glitches, which is the main thing for me. It also connects to my watch quickly and the battery life has been excellent.

Great tracker!
If you own a bike computer this is definitely a good piece of kit to have. I paired it with my Wahoo Bolt v2. So much easier tracking my HR and Zones without looking at my watch every 2 seconds. It is on the expensive side but it’s accurate to my Apple Watch Ultra 2 and I wore it while taking my BP with a cuff. HR was exactly the same with all 3.It’s surprisingly comfortable to wear and washing the band is simple with just a little liquid soap. It has an internal battery and is water resistant. I wash every part of mine under running water without issue so far.I’m happy I spent the money on a good unit. It’s worth it for the accuracy of info I get for my training.

Accurate, comfortable, and full of useful features
The Garmin HRM‑Pro Plus delivers excellent heart rate accuracy, even during intense workouts. The dual ANT+ and Bluetooth connection is stable, and the strap is comfortable even during long sessions.Best of all, it stores data when not connected to a watch and provides advanced running metrics like vertical oscillation, stride length, and ground contact time. It also tracks steps and calories without a watch and syncs everything afterward. The battery lasts up to a year and can be replaced easily without tools. Highly recommended for serious training and reliable data.
