Well made, affordable, and multifunctional
This is an excellent lamp and magnifier, especially for tired, old eyes that need a little help in clarification. I have already used the magnifying function several times and the lamp is adjustable as to brightness. I use a lot of low light in my home and this lamp is perfect. The reasonable price is just icing on the cake.

Just what I needed
getting older (75) at times is not fun. I build plastic models as a hobby and as time has gone on even with reading glasses the small parts are to paint because I wasn't able to see what and where I was painting.So I thought I would try this and it makes seeing what I'm doing great. Not only the magnification, but the light and all it's functions. The brightness and color control works great. No real assembly, except to slide the light in to the base. A person can use the weighted base or use the attachment to clamp it on to the work surface. In my opinion the build quality is very good, plus the price is good.

Works well
First use. it did well. The light was bright, magnifier was clear, and the base was enough to keep it stable (didn't need to use the clamp).

Great purchase
I purchased this because I love doing needle work and as I get older, it has become increasingly difficult to see the details well enough to enjoy the work. This magnifying lamp has been perfect. I use the clamp instead of the base since I had a small table I could clamp it to next to my chair. I especially appreciate the adjustable light brightness. The lamp is easy to use and because I use the clamp part, it's very stable.

Strong lamp
great lamp! I had something similar and the bendy stand couldn't seem to handle the lamps weight so flopped over a lot. This one has no problem with all the angles I use and the different light settings are super helpful. Very much like this lamp.
