Quite challenging.

Lego Horizons Adventures is a build based on the PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch game for players from about 8 or 9 upwards, but although the set is for 9+, I think it can be built from about age 6 upwards with help. You get 4 characters, Aloy and Varl, as well as Shell-Walker and Sawtooth along with weapons from the game to upgrade and play along with.The build is straightforward with a few complex parts that might require adult help for younger builders, but we managed it in just over 2 hours. The parts are moveable and you can add weapons etc as to play. You don't need to know about the game to build or play, just use imagination and already we have been able to mix it with existing Ninjago sets for some imaginative stories!

As a mum of two littluns, it's been proper lovely watching my nine-year-old daughter and three-year-old son having such different but equally enjoyable experiences with it.We spent a lovely afternoon piecing it together in our lounge, and it turned into quite the family bonding session! The character details are absolutely spot-on - they've really nailed capturing the essence of the game characters. My daughter gets stuck in creating these epic battle scenes, while my little one just loves zooming about with the robot creatures, grinning from ear to ear.The weapons add a fantastic element to the mix. You can swap them around for different attacks, which keeps the play dynamic rather than static! Though I should mention that younger children might need a helping hand with it; it's probably better suited for older kids or properly keen gaming enthusiasts. Nevertheless, this kit has become a cherished addition to our ever-growing LEGO collection and has brought a lovely gaming twist to our playtime adventures.The whole thing's been absolutely marvellous for our family - we've had such good fun with it, and it's brought us together in ways I hadn't expected. The quality's top-notch, and while it might be a bit complex for tiny hands, it's perfect for shared play between parents and kids.

This is a great set, as you would expect from a Lego product. The bricks and components all fit together well, but the nature of some of the small connections means they are delicate. The characters came out really well and were great fun to build.

Increase your logic and creativity.My son enjoyed building it, had great details.I would highly recommend it.

LEGO Horizon Adventures Aloy & Varl vs. Shell-Walker & Sawtooth Building Toy SetI love the details of Aloy and Varl minifigs, especially the holographic one on the ear. It has the grass build just like in the game, with movable grass. The campfire has a chest that you can actually open. The shell walker is so cool, with movable 6 legs and articulated arms with a claw and a shield. The sawtooth has a lot of moving parts. It's fun to build. Recommendable.
