Tips on gears needed for having a nice swimming experience with the waterproof mp3 playerOne of the initial problems I was having with the mp3 music player was that the volume of the music was too low while swimming. However, by adjusting the volume of the music through the amplify function of the free software Audacity, the volume problems were gone. One simply selects the music and clicks on the amplify button. Then the volume problem is fixed.A swimming cap and swimming goggles are needed to keep the ear plugs and the music player in place; otherwise, the ear plugs and the music player will get loose while swimming. The speed of copying the music to the player is decent. One would like it. The music player is a must have for my lap swimming.In addition, I am using the music player for other occasions as well for the factors as longevity of battery life, ease on removing the earplugs, and the light weight. The battery can play the music for many hours without recharging, and no comfort is felt on one’s neck.

I'd been using Tayogo's 1st generation headset of this model for 5+ years, in my daily lap-swim routine, and have always loved them. I did went through a few pairs due to issues like loose wiring, bad contacts in the frame to the control unit, etc. but have always had excellent customer service helping me with free replacement unit (within the 2-year extended warranty period). The overall sound quality is excellent, and is truly waterproof in all aspects. The 2nd generation improvements are very much welcomed - integrated control units with magnetic charging (preventing wear-n-tear from having to remove control unit from the frame for charging), silicone coating, & FM option. I do have to rely on my swim goggle strap to hold it in place behind my head during swimming, as it doesn't clamp to my head as firmly as the 1st generation one (probably due to the more slippery silicone coating of the frame). I do wish that there's an option to turn "off" the voice confirmation of "Next / Previous" when changing tracks, as it is really not necessary. Overall, I am very happy with this product & its improvement over the years, and am looking forward to testing its durability out in full force with my daily swim regiment, and will report back the result!

Crystal clear sound and comfortable (unlike other models I tried). Easy to follow instructions for set up and play (unlike other models I tried). I suggest wearing a swim cap to put over your ears a little, so the ear buds stay securely in your ears. Have only used them once, but so far, so good!

I love this waterproof MP3 player- It's great - Easy to use and set up Waterproof MP3 Player. This new and improved player makes transferring MP3 Files easier than earlier version. I use It for water therapy when I'm in the jacuzzi and usually wear it around my neck.

This is a great purchase if you swim on a regular basis. It is lightweight and easy to use. I bought several in the past few years for my family.
