D'Addario Accessories PW-EBMK-01 Bass Maintenance Kit

The kit itself has most of the things you will need to perform a setup on your guitar. I had a few small issues with it, and will detail them below.Headstand / Body matThese are good - although the headstand is very thin, so easy to knock over. if the legs spread out more and gave it a wider surface area, then it would have been better. the mat is a standard non-slip mat, similar to a computer mouse mat.Pro-WinderIt's a bit stiff, but good - has a winder, cutter and pin puller all built into one. Cutter works well. Winder is a bit stiff, but works as expected.Multi ToolThis was a bit of a let down to be honest. First of all - the tool is incredibly stiff, and you will easily bend some of the smaller tools if you try to pull them out. I had to go to get my own allen keys and loosen this tool up a bit before it was usable. The allen keys on this multitool will not fit down my les paul truss rod slot, or any truss rod slot which is recessed. Will need to use an angled allen key for that. The flat head scredriver is too small in my opinion, only really useful for adjusting the intonation bridge saddles.LubrikitThis is a syringe filled with some lubricant that can be added into friction points - not used it yet, so not able to comment really. at least it's sealed well and didn't leak all over the kit during transport.Fret Polishing SystemI laughed when i read this - someone in d'addario has a serious delusions of grandeur . It's literally a cloth with some fret cleaner on it. yet they want to call it a FRET POLISHING SYSTEM - just totally over the top name. Fret Cloth or similar would have been better. I laughed. It's ridiculous.String Action GaugeSolid little tool - has all the markings and conversions from imperial and metric.Overall - it's a nice kit - lacking a little for the price to be honest. If i had paid £30 instead of £60 i could let a lot of it go, but for the price, i Expected more.Hope this review helped.

Received two capos in mine and was missing the pro winder.. I already have one, but if I didn’t it’d be a real pain at this sort of money.
