Have a couple of 7211-R containers with plastic lids that no longer clip close. Tried several versions of 7211 silicone lids, none worked. Glad to have find these! They fit nicely on the container, even though it seems that they are not made for it particularly. The edge of the lid has silicone part as "seal" and closes snugly. Hopefully it will last a reasonably long time. The bamboo top looks very clean and beautiful. We hand wash it and towel dry each time to prevent possible change of shape.

Fits the Pyrex keepers very well. An excellent replacement for the plastic.If you put in the food while is still a bit warm, will actually seal well as it cools.

These lids were not only a perfect fit, they were also sturdier to stack when filled. The heat retention is longer, and they are estheticly pleasing.

I'm concerned about the longevity of these. I've been washing AND drying them right away because I'm afraid they'll crack and warp like some other wood lids we've tried. So far these are okay but it's only been a few weeks so far. Definitely better than the original plastic ones though!

Nice quality. Easy to clean (we wash by hand), no splintering (yet). But wow, it’s impossible to get the lids off once you put them on. Soup definitely will not leak, but then you have to pull so hard to get the lid off that the contents go flying when the lid finally gives. Would give these a pass. Looking for other non-plastic alternatives for Pyrex lids.

Perfect fit for 7211-PC (6 cup) rectangle Pyrex. I hate the high cost of plastic Pyrex lids that crack and chip after a few years. I tried the thick, all-silicone lids, but found they were too floppy and didn't seal well.These bamboo lids have structure and strength for stacking in the fridge. The silicone seal around the edge is just enough to form a seal and tight fit. I can hear the air release from the suction when lifting the lid from the Pyrex. There's a thin groove around the edge of the bamboo lid. The strip of silicone sits in the thin groove with friction and the elastic nature of silicone. Easily removed for washing. DEFINTELY pre-wash the bamboo lid before using. There was some bamboo wood dust in the groove. You don't want to be ingesting that.

These lids are a big improvement for the pyrex snapware glass container. First and most importantly, the lids on glass locking containers are the weak spot that shortens their lifespan; on some brands it's just unbelievable- the lid flaps will just snap right off and the glass bowl is practically useless without the lid. These bamboo lids are beautiful and stable, with a good silicone gasket seal. They are easy to clean and almost indestructible, after one quick washing they smell like air. Bamboo is very resilient, more so than wood or plastic. These tops seal tightly and stack well. Highly recommended.
