As advertised. I chose the brand because it was just a couple of bucks more than the off-brands and the inactive ingredients of the off-brand were not the same. When dealing with health, it’s better to splurge and pay a little more to ensure the best quality product. This was cheaper on amazon for the combo pack than the single-pack was at walmart! I got the combo-pack that came with one big tube and one little tube along with 7 applicators. The applicators screw on easily and tightly and do not leak. They are easy to fill without mess. The cream works. It can be a little uncomfortable/itchy/messy but it is much better than the alternative of not using it. Your doctor may be able to instead (or also) prescribe a pill like Fluconazole. The product’s box was unnecessarily large and there was quite a bit of room inside it. Note: I had a priorly-old tube that was expired a year. My doctor said it wouldn’t do harm but might not have any effectiveness. It did reduce symptoms while I waited for the delivery. If you have an expired tube, it’s worth trying in the meantime. The amazon tube’s expiration is in 2 years and 2 months from my delivery.

This is just a first impressions review, treatment isn't done with yet but so far so good. I always prefer to use the most natural methods possible, but I wasn't able to stay consistent with other presumed remedies and after 3 weeks of this infection driving me absolutely bonkers, I broke down and ordered this. 45 years old and no yeast infections in this area until this year, this is my 2nd one! I have diabetes and get the yeast rashes in various places on my skin but was so grateful to not get it in my lady parts until now. I found something at my local store last time that worked great but couldn't remember the name. I knew Monistat was bit pricier than others but also known for curing these things and at this point I just want something that will work fast. After I ordered, I read all the reviews about intense burning and got a little scared to try it when it arrived. I didn't do it at bedtime as instructed, because I knew I'd be laying there, focusing on the burning and not able to sleep, so I did it about 3 hours before bedtime. OMG, the burning was pretty intense at first, very uncomfortable. I kept thinking what did I get myself into! I used meditation to try to calm it down and it actually started fading before I went to sleep. I was okay at that moment but then I woke up around 2am and felt the burn again. I just let it pass and fell back asleep. I woke up, for the first time in weeks, without any itching... it was a miracle! I used a little of the itch cream as a precaution but here we are 5 hours later and I'm feeling just fine. I suspect there will be more burning on the next treatment but now I know I can handle it, and I really feel it's working.

Hey Readers, I am reluctant to admit this but I have done other things when push came to shove so I suspect I will get thru this too. So the secret is I did not purchase this Monistat for myself - haven't been on antibiotics lately. I have two poodles, one a red mini mini and a large cream color Standard. Jake and Sachey have beautiful thick coats and ears. And like most water dogs are, their ears are prone to yeast infections which are quite uncomfortable and annoying for them and me as well. They are always cocking their heads and shaking or scratching their ears occasionally whimpering. I have purchased ear medicine, ear wash or nearly everything to do with ears, all to no avail. The vet has a great ear wash which works for awhile then not so much. have also I purchased several on Amazon and again not so much until I ran across EcoEars which actually seems to be a great ear wash but not enough to get rid of the yeast.The directions on ear washes say to wash the dog's ears two or three times a day which means I have to stalk and restrain them which is a sad experience for each of us. One day I had this epiphany that women frequently have yeast infections and I personally know Monistat is effective so why not try it on the boyos. I ordered some EchEars which has a really pleasing fragrance but not medicinal and washed their ears which were oh so full of black nasty gunk. Holy jumping up and down Martha, they just came from the groomer a week ago and so soon? Wash complete I was able to get the Monistat deeper into their ears than usual because of the applicator and that has been very helpful, but be gentle if you try this. Within just a couple of applications every third day, and then a wash and an application in three days and I will be gobsmacked if their ears are not clearing up! When I used the wash I wipe their ears with a course grade gauze pads which picks up the debris and yucky stuff unlike trying and failing with a QTip. I twist the corner of the gauze square and twist it as far as I can get it in and then I massage their ears as the gauze cleans the gunk and absorbs the remaining wash and then apply the Monistat. They still cringe when they see the me gather the materials but they don't fight and cry anymore. Yikes, I think I'm on to something here! If you have a dog/s that suffer with yeast infections think about using Monistat 7 along with EcoEars and while giving your babies some relief you can relax and allow your hair to grow back in. Obviously I would recommend this product because that is why I write the review. I do not accept any type of reimbursement from Amazon or the manufacturers of the product but I certainly do get the gratitude of two boyos who no longer whine and shake their heads. Their comfort and happiness is everything to me so the cost of ensuring their comfort and happiness is negligible to me. Per Amazon's efforts the product arrived swiftly and in great shape without damage .I am so very relieved to have happy pups with healthy ears and they insisted that I express their delight in how quick and effective the Monistat and want me to continue using both the Monistat and EcoEars. I hope this combination is as works as well for you as it has for our family!
