Manufacturer's Description Bezzerwizzer takes trivia game play to a whole new level. This fast paced game of trivia, tactics and trickery has 5,000 questions across 20 categories, from "Food and Drink" and "Film" to "Business" and much more. Sounds simple, yet Bezzerwizzer is no ordinary game, it's about as clever as a board game can get. Challenge your opponents to answer their questions correctly and you could steal their points! Teams are asked questions from randomly chosen categories, but they are allowed to order categories, as the points received for each correct answer is increased for each category. Players can then swap tiles and categories with other players. You'll have to be sneaky and strategise to win this game. It was originally invented in Denmark and has proved so popular it has spread around the world. Bezzerwizzer means "know-it-all" in Danish!

A very entertaining game to play with friends and family
The media could not be loaded. We have enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuits as a family for many years so when I decided to buy a new game I knew that I was looking for something in a similar genre. This game really appealed to me because it is based on answering general knowledge questions over a wide range of categories. I also liked the idea of the added twists which meant that it wasn't just the answer a question and move round the board type; with this game there is also an element of strategy involved. Even better when that strategy means you can scupper someone else's chances to improve your own.The rules of the game need reading through a couple of times in order to familiarise yourself with how to play it. They are straightforward and easy to follow but it is definitely worth having a practice run with new people so that they get the hang of what to do with the bezzerwizzer and zwap tiles. There are two complete packs of question cards with 20 different categories on each card. You only ask one question per card so they last a long time - we have rarely had questions repeated even though we have played this game many times. Some of the questions can be a little tough - but it is like anything, if you know the answer then they are simple. A large majority of the questions are answerable if you have a reasonable level of general knowledge. The hardest ones often give you three choices of answers so at least you have a chance of getting the answer right. I have found that for most questions, even if I don't know the answer, someone else round the table does. I like that not all the questions are so easy that everyone can answer them. I think that many of the questions would be a little tough for younger children. They are probably better suited for older teens and adults. You can play the game as individuals or as teams, both work equally well, and it means that you can play with as little as two people up to 16 people - 4 teams of 4.Overall, this is a great game to play with family and friends and it is the kind of game that you can bring out regularly without anyone saying 'Oh no, not that again'

Good Game - Wrong Version
This is a good trivia game for 'grown ups' with the added bonus of team tactics which creates an element of fun, made all the more enjoyable by not having time limits set on your answers! However, this was bought as an additional Christmas game in the UK and we have received the American version; as it would appear have many other UK Amazon customers! Luckily as a family we have spent many months in the States which has been essential for answering the majority of questions but we are very much at a disadvantage when it comes to certain categories ie., TV shows etc.I would be grateful it Amazon could let us know where to purchase a set of UK question cards for this game without having to the purchase the complete box set again. Also to note was that the American version was considerably cheaper when I was researching this game, so a little disappointed with Amazon really. The game itself would have got 4 stars had it been the correct Edition.

Fast fun for a range of age groups
Living in Austria, I bought both the English and German versions of this game, hoping that combined, they would be suitable for an international group of friends. This proved partly true, and compared to similar "Trivia" quiz games that are much more country-specific, Bezzerwizzer certainly contains a greater number of questions pertaining to the entire world. We removed the Media category, since questions in this category are predominantly country-specific. It would be great if the designers could come up with a truly international version, where none of the questions relate to a national TV programme, or local politics, for example. The language is less important than the nature of the questions, since they can easily be translated. We enjoyed the tactics that set this game apart from other quiz games, and the fact that, even with four teams playing, the game doesn't last forever!

Bezzewizzer - for children? perhaps not
I bought this product as a child's game for my 12 year old nephew. It was billed as being suitable for adults and children to play together because you could interchange easy and more difficult questions. Having played this with my nephew and family, we found many of the questions to be way above the knowledge level of even my very clever nephew. Rather frustrating for him and embarrassing for me. I would suggest this is categorised in future as an adult game - as it says on the box!!

Marvellous! Best game we've ever had!
This game is fantastic. The questions are up-to-date and challenging. There are twenty categories of questions; some are teasers but some are very hard. Full range of ages, abilities and sobriety (LOL) catered for, so it's fun for all. Also, the questions range in time from very modern things, such as iPods, way back to stuff in the 70s 80s, and even before... notwithstanding whether they are the history category.I was a hardened Triv fan, but this game is MILES better than Triv. I'm serious. There are also other techniques which make the game more fun by injecting a little competitive mischief. The board is durable, brightly coloured and easy to read. The rules are easy, too. We couldn't decide how to pronounce the name, so we call it Beelzebub.Give it a go, you wont be disappointed!

The wrong version?
When I ordered Bezzerwizzer i thought from reading the information provided that I was buying the English version. However, when I started using it I was disappointed because, for examle, most of the sports questions related to US sports. So, I have either received the wrong version or the Engliah version is mis-named. I did consider returning the product but frankly it is not the best boardgame ever developed and I don't think having questions more related to the UK would improve it much.In future I will only buy products via Amazon when I do not need to examine them before purchase.
