Good to diagnose charging issues and monitor device performance
Digital devices everywhere these days! Phones, tablets, flashlights, earpods - all kinds of useful gadgets, and they all have one thing in common: batteries that need frequent recharging.I have a phone and a tablet that have each exhibited show charging symptoms, and it can be difficult to diagnose problems like this. Is the battery failing? Have some of the tiny wires inside the charging cable broken so it can't carry the nominal-required charging current? You have to have a way to see how much current your device is receiving to figure it out. And this is just what you need in such situations! In the case of my phone, I was able to download an app that showed the battery's rate of charge and discharge during use, and it was clear that the battery was failing. But then my iPad started to exhibit slow-charging symptoms and I needed to know if it was a battery or cable issue.Insert this handy monitor in the charging path and you have an instant picture of what's going on. The small digital display alternately shows charging voltage, current and wattage, giving you good idea of the rate of charge. You can quickly swap out a cable or a charger and see if the charging current increases or decreases, or just stays the same. If all the swaps shows similar results, it's probably the battery. This will be an invaluable addition to my toolbox. Two thumbs up, and recommended!

Works as advertised… be sure you know what that is.
My situation is maybe unusual. I have a thermoelectric generator that produces 5v to power usb lights. I wanted to find out how much current was being drawn. Well, this is designed for smart chargers, and reports current by decoding the bits going up and down the line to negotiate the current and voltage. So it didn’t report anything except voltage. It worked exactly as expected charging my iPhone. It seems pretty handy when used as designed.

Won't begin showing current draw till it hits 300mA.
The "Poyiccot USB A Extension Adapter with LED Digital Display 2Pack, 10Gbps USB 3.2 Converter Type A Male to Female Extender with Digital Display for Laptop, Keyboard,Flash Driver (Transparent)" I received needs some re-engineering imo. This USBa voltage, current and wattage monitor does work. However, if your device draws less than 300mA, the device will not register current draw, nor wattage. It does register voltage however.I'm a little disappointed in the device as I have many usb devices that draw less than 300mA and would like to monitor them. I have an old USBA monitor, but that one uses a lot of current itself to process and display a reading. That's why I originally obtained these. If you only need to monitor higher current drawing devices, then this is an option. Else, I would look elsewhere on Amazon.

Nice and bright
I saw two different Poyiccot USB extension adapters and thought I would test them both out. I expected the only difference to be aesthetic, this one with a transparent case and the other with an opaque case - I was wrong. This one has a much brighter display as shown in the image. They both function quite well cycling between voltage, amperage, and wattage (with load), or voltage alone if nothing is drawing current. This one, however I can read much better in bright light.I will use these only for charging and testing so I'm not evaluating the data transfer capabilities.I have a larger USB tester that I use a lot, but these are very nice for semi-permanent testing scenarios.Overall, Highly Recommended.Other unit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DDPGSRTN?th=1Item: Poyiccot USB A Extension Adapter with LED Digital Display 2Pack, 10Gbps USB 3.2 Converter Type A Male to Female Extender with Digital Display for Laptop, Keyboard,Flash Driver (Transparent)

Works perfectly
These pass-through power meters work great, and the screen is very easy to see. When testing against my other (more sophisticated) USB power meters, this was within 0.1V and 0.1A, a good result. I appreciate that this shows volts and amps separately, as well as watts. A lot of others only show volts and watts. The display itself is very legible, segments illuminating a pale blue. The USB 3.x conductors are properly passed through, so the 10Gbps claim is correct.I have no complaints about these. They allow you to see how much power a USB device uses, without affecting data transfer. They're also pretty cheap.
