I got this for making small tattoos and wanted something of a smaller grip diameter. This fits the bill very nicely. There are some tradeoffs. The pen does not have a built in battery, but is very lightweight to handle. Super easy to hold because the diameter is small. No adjustment for stroke length and power setting is not the standard voltage, so if you are already used to another machine, this one will require that you experiment with the power setting. Other than that, it is a unique pen to me and has some really nice aspects such as lightweight and small diameter.
