My toddler has been obsessed with bugs lately so I ordered these to go with his bug catching kit. I love that there are multiple colors so he can share with his siblings and each of my kids can have their own without arguing over whose is whose. The handle feels sturdy and includes a foam piece to make it more comfortable to hold. The point where the ring of the net connects to the handle is a little flimsy and bends easily but none have broken yet. Overall, I think its a good value for the money and will provide lots of outside and bathtime fun.

We love these bug nets. You can't have just one. You need several of them. That is why I love this pack. It comes with a 6 pack all different colors. Seem to be made well. Great item for kids.

I guess I can’t complain about the price but they are definitely weak and come apart in pieces way too easily for me. I bought them for 2 year olds and they didn’t last an hour.

These were perfect for our beach trip! All the kids were able to have a net without fighting with each other. The nets are pretty flimsy but 3 out of 6 of them lasted a whole week without breaking or bending. The handles are pretty light aluminum but the only part that actually broke was the back end of the handle as one of the telescoping parts came off. I'm pretty happy with how they worked out for the price. We were scooping pounds and pounds of sand and still brought 3 of the 6 home after the trip.

I bought these for my four kids ages 5-10 who have been really into bug catching, especially with all the big butterflies flying around our house. Unfortunately the telescopic rods are not very durable. The handles came right off not very long after having them. The nets themselves are cute, bright colors but are not as big as I'd hoped. If I did catch a big butterfly, I would not be able to gather the net around it to pick it up and transfer it to a butterfly cage. It can catch smaller butterflies well though. The nets themselves are good material, and the rest of the rods stayed together so they were still useable for some time. The rods are pretty long even without the handles also, which was nice. Overall, they remained useable but fell apart and were not very big for what we wanted to catch.

I ordered these nets for my children to use outside over the summer. Within a week almost all of them were broken and useless. The extendability of the polls makes them weak. They can pull apart completely and then won't go back together securely. Some of the handles fell off. I think if you have older kids who can be very gentle with tools, these might work. But for the most part they are flimsy and not worth the money.

These nets are cute in theory, but they are not sturdy at all. If you/your child is at all rough, I would not recommend these nets. I have bought similar nets from the dollar store so I was expecting them to be similar in quality, which they are. They have a telescopic feature, but if you want them to last, you should not extend them much at all, even for bug catching. My kids tried these to catch minnows at our local beach and as long as they were not at all extended, they did actually work for that (the handle snaps off if it is extended). I certainly would not buy these with the intention to use it for active fishing for fish larger than 1/2 inch long.
