LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers The Hydra Fortress Smash Set #76041

Hours of fun and quiet were had in my house with this item. My 9 and 10 yr old boys built this together and had a quality bonding moment. They worked together at building this for several hours, the structure once together is pretty sound and doesn't fall apart quickly like some of the others they have built. For the amount of super heros you get this product is worth the price. Everything worked the way it was described on the box, my son's were thrilled.

All of these Avengers sets are very cool. With a combination of standard blocks and specialty pieces they are well worth the money when you look at the per piece cost. The only issue that I seem to have is the fact that they have changed the movie to accommodate a more male oriented audience with the toys. Why is Captain America dropping out of the Quinn jet? It was clearly Black Widow who was the star of that scene on the motorcycle. Are Lego a bunch of chauvinist pigs?

Too much money for what it actually is!

My grandson loved his birthday gift. My only disappoint is that he lives so far away and I cannot help him put it together.

The set was a challenge to assemble and that was my favorite aspect of the set.

had fun building it with my son...the car is really cool and how it shoots the balls...the set is a nice set.

The first one was lost and it was what he wanted. But even though it didn't make it for his birthday. He is a happy guy

My 9 year old enjoys this set. He saved his allowance money to buy. He really wanted the set for the mini firgures. He really wanted Quicksliver. He plays more with the mini firgures than the set pieces but that is how he plays with his Legos. It was easy enough for him to build on his own following the picture instructions.
