A few weeks ago, the rescue pittie I was in the process of adopting turned out to have far more health issues than we had thought, and the shelter made the very difficult decision to euthanize her. In my favorite photo of her, she's standing in the grass with a laughing expression, and a butterfly is about to alight on her nose.I saw this a few days after we lost her. It's a beautiful tribute to her. I keep it on my desk where a plant light charges it, and I plan to paint it to look like her.Aside from the sentimental effect, it's a really good sculpt of a dog, very nicely detailed, and the butterfly adds a whimsical touch. It charges up quickly under the plant light and would likely charge even faster in sunlight.

This solar light dog is adorable. The butterfly on its nose lights up fairly bright. It’s very light compared to other lawn statues I have but so far haven’t had any problems of it falling over or anything like that. I will say it is much smaller than I expected but the price also reflects that. Overall, it’s a cute addition to my garden and it’s super cute!

My sister has a she shed, where she gets away from everything and does crafts. She is looking for some décor, and I got this for her to put outside at the front of her shed. She is also a dog lover with 3 Labradors so this will go right with her love of dogs.This has a very soft and subtle light from the butterfly. It is not so bright it would be annoying, nor would it light up the porch or disturb you if you were sitting outside at night. It is just a very soft subtle light that you could see to go towards at night. The statue is well carved and looks exactly like the picture. The only concern I have with it is that it is kind of lighter than I expected. Not sure if that would be a problem in the wind or storms if it might tip over. Its not going to blow away or anything but it might tip over. I am not sure until we have a storm.

The dog statue was 12 INCHES tall.

I mistakenly read the size wrong, which was my own fault. I assumed it would be close to the size of a similar one I already own, boy was I wrong. This is about the height of a large drink you would get at the gas station. The dog (more like pup to me) does have great detail, the eyes are sweet, it lights as expected and looks as pictured. I just can't get past the price, given my other one is nearly 6 of these at just under the cost of 2 of these.

We have a similar cat piece in our yard, and this dog statue is a nice partner to it. The detail on this resin piece is very nice, and although the solar panel is at an angle that doesn't catch all of the light in our yard, it still lights up for a good while in the evenings just fine and is really cute, a nice quality piece. This would look adorable in anyone's garden or yard, and would also be a lovely gift for anyone who's recently lost a doggie friend.

This is a bit smaller than expected, but it's very cute. The solar panel is on the back of the dog which does sort of limit the direction you can face it.

This is such a cute little dog statue. It came well-protected and boxed in styrofoam. I received this on an overcast day in the middle of the day and didn’t think it would light up at night but the butterfly is lit. It's on the front window sill so I can see it from in the house and outside the house. In my opinion, it works better off the ground since it’s just under 9” high and just over 3” wide. It makes me smile every time I see it and who couldn’t use an extra smile or two every day. The light will easily last all through the night on a couple hours charge.
