We’ve been using a number of different kinds of weights over the years for our art show canopies; everything from DIY to commercially created. The great thing about these is that they attach neatly to the legs of the canopy, not obstructing the curtain walls when they are zipped down. The light gray color blends very well and is less noticeable than the black fabric bags. We filled them with playground sand, since that’s heavier than water (32 lbs. vs 23 lbs.) They pack very nicely onto the backseat floor of our truck and allow us to stack other items on them, unlike the cloth bags which tend to shift and be uneven. I really like the grab handles, which makes picking them up and moving them around much easier. Very important for one who has a bad back. The Velcro straps are wide and grip extremely well. We bought two sets of these because the windier shows require over 50 pounds per leg and these stack perfectly on top of each other. The price seems a bit high for extruded plastic. However, time will tell if the durability justifies the price. I will leave a follow up comment if there are any failures to these. For now, I would say these are the best solution you can have for a professional art show environment.

These are better filled with sand. More weight. Great product less mess.

Seems durable enough, easy to use on the canopy, only reason it didn't get a higher rating is the small cap makes filling with sand rather difficult unless the sand is perfectly dry and goes through a funnel easily. The only sand I could get at the time was damp so it took forever to fill. That being said, filling them with playground sand and then adding a bit of water to that made them around 30-32 lbs each, right where I wanted. And by using sand, I don't have to worry about the caps leaking, which was an issue in other reviews. However, if you want something much easier to transport, filling them with water means you can dump them out and transport is easier, provided you have access to water at the next show.

I couldn't be happier with these weights. Before I upgraded, I was using sand bags that came with my Eurmax canopy. They were messy, in the way and made it a struggle to zip canopy walls together at the bottom. These heavy-duty weights are easy to carry, tidy and compatible with square or hexagonal legs. They also stay securely in place and give my art festival booth a more professional appearance. I filled them with pebbles, and with the added weight of grid walls that I attach to the upper frame, my canopy is very stable. After a year of use, no issues with leaks or caps cracking. Very pleased with this product!

Been using those silly sand filled bags for years. Seen all kinds of crafters using all sorts of homemade contraptions to weigh down their tents. If you have square legs on your tent these are PERFECT !!! Filled with water they are heavy ... Filled with sand they are HEAVY. First show was on the bay at the Jersey shore in an open park on a very windy day. We never had a single concern - our tent never moved. All that's left is to see if they age well. But initially? Worth every last penny !!

I have used gallon water jugs filled with rock to keep my steps from floating. It took six of them and the steps still floated a little. I bought these hoping they would work and I can’t be more happy about them. I filled them with rock and the Velcro keeps them in place. I used shoe strings to tie the jugs down. These look great and get the job done. We had friends over and they commented on how sturdy the steps were. So, just one more way to use this wonderful product.

If you have banners on stage, these are what you want. Sand or water.
