Jurassic World Evolution - Xbox One Edition

It's like all of my childhood dreams have come true.Frontier Developers did a fantastic job translating the classic Jurassic Park theme into a park sim game. The missions keep you busy and bringing in funds while also providing a challenging.Every time the dinosaurs emerge from the hatchery, you can't help but get the chills. It's enjoyable to create hybrid creatures with different gene mutations.I've been playing for over a week now and i'm still hooked. There are 5 career islands, as well as a sandbox island. There's plenty to keep you challenged and I'd wager that the replay value for this game is pretty high. it's fun to rebuild your parks from the ground up and target that ever elusive 5-star rating.It's always a thrill when the dinosaurs escape, although somewhat stressful. Overall, the game is solid.A few wish list items though:- baby dinosaurs- flying dinosaurs- aquatic dinosaursMaybe there will be a DLC expansion pack someday?

Bought is game for my 3 year old son and will have to say that I should have checked product info a little better for the maturity level. As this is a tycoon game where you build your own park, send expedition teams out and have to manage finances. While honestly I NEVER buy ANYTHING without a lot of research first.. there’s a first time for everything, right? Lol. He’s in love with Jurassic world and when I saw he game r was an instant and impulsive buy. Now, with that being said - the game is amazing! I have enjoyed building and running the park for him while he enjoys just being able to check In on the individual dinosaur paddocks. Wonderful graphics, immersive game play.

I absolutely loved this game. It adds a lot more complex of you than your typical roller coaster tycoon type of game. You have to worry about the monsters backspac I absolutely loved this game. It adds a lot more complex city than your typical roller coaster tycoon type game. You have to worry about the dinosaurs eating each other or getting along, you have to worry about power outages, sabotages from different departments, guests welfare and satisfaction, weather, and so much more. And it’s super cool that you can genetically alter the jeans of the dinosaurs and create your own and habitat them. Definitely recommend this game especially if you’re a fan of roller coaster tycoon back in the day !

This is actually a game I don’t mind my son playing. He is learning a lot about dinosaurs and responsibilities as he has to care for them. He doesn’t kill anyone which is a welcome change from fortnite. He plans his islands out and had to take care of his dinosaurs. It has actually made him so interested in dinosaurs that he has me take him to the library to check out books about them. I have never had a video game do that before. Plus he has a lot of fun playing it.

Honestly this game is onto something. If they'd just make the simulation less faked they'd have a huge winner. I had a great time and seeing all the dinosaurs warmed my heart. If you can get this for about 20 bucks I think you'll have a great time for days.I realize I've said "Great time" twice, but I mean I did. I can't give it 5 stars however because again almost all the human related simulations are faked. The people walking around mean nothing outside of death counts.

for a game I didn't consider this enjoyable. It reminds me of a more advanced farmville…. My son loves dinosaurs and this was way over his head. I am tired of playing it for him and frankly not even sure how. I can't believe I wasted so much money on this but it is what it is... live and learn. You are building a world but its not really a "game"

Feels like it was conceived as a free to play game but after all the BattleFront bs by EA they modified this to not have any DLC currently or loot crates. The advantage is the game you pay for is the full game the well not sure if disadvantage is the right word but it has a lot to real time delays between things or getting more dinosaurs for your park. Plan to grind out excavations, researching fossils, incubating new assets as they call dinosaurs and or building things that takes time as well. If your like me and you get into the flow of the grind it's a huge addictive time suck, if your just wanting to release a trex on your park that's a huge process and plan on working for it. I've played about 8 hours, two islands of 5 to their fullest and still haven't unlocked anything bigger then a triceratops.The bad is it's a huge time suck of repetition, the game play loop is pretty simple after you understand the fundamentals of building your own park, and the tutorial is called google and plan on looking up 75% of what your doing to get a start.

It’s a great concept game. But honestly gets pretty boring after an hour. But it’s pretty cool.
