I purchased Quinn the Koala for myself following a loss. At first, I hesitated, feeling it might be childish as an adult to buy myself a cuddly toy, but on a particularly difficult day I decided to go ahead after reading so many positive reviews. I knew I’d made the right choice as soon as it arrived - the first time I hugged Quinn, I felt moved. In my grief, I realised how much I needed that hug. Since then, Quinn has been a real source of comfort. The packaging was excellent - a quality drawstring bag that’s also useful for travel, along with a thoughtful paper note explaining the design and confirming it’s suitable for ages 2 through to adults. The koala itself has a reassuring weight, and resting it on my chest or stomach brings a real sense of calm as described in the product description. The koala's fur is wonderfully soft, and the gentle, understanding expression makes it feel even more comforting. I would highly recommend Hugimals as a gift for someone experiencing grief, or simply in need of a hug during a tough time. It would be great for a child, teen, adult or senior. It certainly has calming properties and seems to be a good aid for anxiety. Yes it is expensive, but it seems to be good quality - so if you are an adult debating if this is for you or a loved one, give it a try. In the end, if it helps you it's worth the money.

I’m autistic and bought this Hugimal after realising I was craving deep pressure input (something that helps regulate the nervous system). I was hesitant at first — it felt like a lot of money for what I thought was “just a teddy” (even though I love teddies!) — but I’m so glad I took the plunge. The quality is incredible. You can feel straight away that it’s made to last, unlike some cheaper weighted plushies. It’s so soft and well-made, with no odd smell (a big plus for me as I’m very sensitive to scents). His ears are ridiculously fluffy and comforting to stroke, and the weight is evenly distributed throughout his arms, legs, and tummy — which makes him feel extra grounding. I love putting his weighted arms over me, like he’s hugging me back. He’s ridiculously cute, and I’ve found myself reaching for him throughout the day when I’m feeling tense or overstimulated. I’ve had weighted blankets before, but this feels different — more personal and instantly soothing. If you’re on the fence because of the price, I honestly think it’s worth it for the comfort and quality. He’s become my instant “weighted hug” friend, and I can’t imagine not having him now. 🐨💛

Frankie the Cat is amazing. The cool blue colour is so calming. Whilst price seems expensive the product is really well made. The fur is super soft and very relaxing to stroke. The weight is sufficient to feel it pressing down on you, but not too much to feel uncomfortable. I have an Anxiety Disorder and going through a bad patch right now. I take this to bed to cuddle, and fall asleep easily thanks to the comforting sensation. Also really nice to lie on your chest when your sitting down during the day. I love him, and I'm 45 years old, so this definitely isn't just for kids, but great for adults too. So much so I've ordered the microwavable version for cold days.

The inside removable weighted beads part is hard to unbutton at the head, if you want to take it out for washing, i couldn't button it when I put it back in, but it doesn't seem to matter. This koala hugimal is soooo soft and well made and it really is wonderful to hug and reduces my stress. I don't often leave reviews, but I want hugimals to be able to keep making these beautiful koala hugimals so people can enjoy them and get the emotional benefits of hugging them too.

Still grieving my husband after 6 years I found night times especially lonely and yearned for some comfort. Charlie has provided that comfort and more. Beautifully made, he has become my new best friend. I think it's the weight that does the trick. Have felt much more settled since he came. I am 64 years of age. If you're distressed please give him a try. I hope he helps you too.

I remember seeing Hugimals a while back whilst searching for weighted products. Unfortunately they were only available by ordering directly from the USA and the cost was too great. I did purchase another via Amazon which I still have, but required something a little more compact. The moment I took it out of its lovely little bag, I could feel the quality of it. It is lovely and soft and I found it quite clever that the opening was at the side, rather than the back (my other is the back and the seems are beginning to fray). As an autistic person, weighted goods help massively. trying to find things however that can be more portable and not breaking the bank is always challenging… but very pleased to see them finally over here!!

He’s lovely and heavy

Excellent quality weighted cuddly toy worth £50. Given as a gift to anxious elderly relative convalescing post surgery. Emory provides a lot of comfort, reducing anxiety, especially at night and is much loved. Quite surprised how much Emory has helped. Washed well (beads removed) though a little bit difficult getting the beads back exactly as they were when Emory was new and never been washed. This is just a minor point. Highly recommend Emory and friends.

Who knew a weighted stuffie could have such a big impact. The eyes on Sam the sloth seriously make you feel seen. Holding Sam feels so calming. My friends have raved about weighted blankets, but it's not something I've considered (I run hot), but now I know why they love their weighted blankets. Having Sam lying on my chest provides a sense of.... calm and relaxation. I swear, I don't move out of that position when I have Sam on me because I wake up and we're still in the exact same position. I've caught my husband holding him on the couch too, petting Sam's head. Sam is super soft. I've had Sam for 6 months and I haven't had to unstuff Sam for cleaning, but it would be easy enough. The seam is well constructed. I love how round Sam's head is. I bought Quinn the koala for a friend, and noticed that Quinn carries more of its weight in the belly (also cute). You can't go wrong with any of the Hugimals family as I suspect they are all wonderful.

I bought this cause I am a terrible flyer. This pup actually was a tremendous help. He was also used as a pillow. I put the tray down, sat him down on tray and cuddled into him. Slept like a baby

Hugimals is the best weighted plushies made. Frankie the cat is my second Hugimals, I have Charlie the puppy not for long and here I am purchased a second one. I just couldn’t get enough. The more you hugged them, the more it get softer and it’s not hard to maintain unlike the Jellycat who gets so worn out with just a few hugs.. The material is very sturdy and lux to the touch. For the price, it’s worth every penny. The therapeutic aspects for me as an adult is phenomenal what more for children. The weight is perfection. I had guests in the house who tried to hold them, it really makes them feel loved because of the hug, it’s magical. I received mine exactly on the intended delivery time, no delays and can easily track my order. Received Frankie well intact, with dustbag and plastic sealed which means no one has ever touched him yet.. Just get it , Don’t think about it, you will never regret it.

Peluches lestées au top ! Réconfortantes avec leurs poids ! De plus elles sont toutes très belles. J’en ai pris plusieurs (chien, chat, paresseux et koala) pour offrir et....pour moi aussi. Très bien pour les adultes aussi ! Je recommande !

There is a spot at its tummy where it was not stitch properly. I saw a couple of reviews that have the same problem so this is a qc problem they clearly need to pay attention to because this thing is pricey as hell. I am not going to return it as it is such a hassle but hopefully it won't tear and worsen
