Great Minds do think alike!
Carl Weber and Mary B. Morrison together and apart always deliver an action pack read. If you haven't bought this yet, then I have one question to ask ya? What the hell you waiting for! This is the one!!!!! If you are looking for a good read. Trust me people, you won't be disappointed. I had no doubt that this story would not be off the freaking hook and I didn't have any prior knowledge that this book would bring together two of our must well know characters from books previously written by Carl Weber and Mary B. Morrison separately. Chile please! I finished this book in one day! I turned page after page after page until their was nothing left to turn! and let me tell ya!!! you will be surprised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good, but come ON with the sex (I'm no prude, either)
I've never read Mary Morrison book but there isn't a Carl Weber book I haven't read. I liked the book, read it in 1 1/2 days. I read erotica, I write erotic poetry. But come on. Did every other page have to have every conversation lead to sex? Did every other page have to be sex when the real story was so powerful? It was distracting from the quality of the writing and story telling. I would have loved to have seen another chapter after the "epilog" of the book. Things were getting good! Overall, worth the read but too much focus on sex at weird times.

Interesting but not the greatest
I have read all of Carl Weber's books but none of Mary B. Morrison's. I have never been disappointed with any of Weber's books but this one was just okay for me. It could be because of Morrison's input as I noticed that this book was extremely saturated with a sexual nature and I know that Weber usually has more substance to his storylines. Trying to get past all the provocative, sexual scenes to get to the real "meat" of the book was redundant and at times, boring. But I made it through in just a few days as it is a pretty easy read. Plus, I kept looking for more that I have come to expect from Weber. My attention was captured more towards the end and I was a bit disappointed that it took me that long to get into it. But overall, it was a decent read and interesting with two of the popular characters, each from both authors, being brought together into one story.

Stupendous
What I liked is how the characters and plot were developed. It was very obvious that Ashlee was very disturbed and insecure woman with deep rooted psychological issues from her thought processes..he's your new man and you've claimed him after mind blowing sex (smash and dish) one night Girl bye lol. The lesson here is take the time to really get to know people because fools rush in and don't heed subtle red flags and other warning signs that spell serious trouble in relationships.

Surprisingly good!
From the first page to the last, this book was a real page-turner. I read the book in less than two days. I was pleasantly surprised as each chapter kept me on the edge of my seat. Yes, there was a lot of drama, but that's what made the book so interesting. I was disappointed at the ending, though, and was hoping to the title of this one's sequel. But there wasn't one, and I'm hoping these two authors created or will create a proper ending to Ashlee's mental tirade!

Not worth one star
I returned this book for a refund. It is not worth the one star which is the lowest rating I am allowed to give it. To say that the two characters in the book are cardboard cut-outs is to flatter them. I would call this book pornographic, not because of the sexual antics they indulge in, but because the authors see nothing beyond the tactile and the visual. Jay and Ashlee see nothing in each other beyond their physical attributes and the instant pleasure they give each other. They have nothing behind what is visible or can be groped. Good eroticism is not an easy genre to write. It has a subtlety and a way of grabbing you when you least expect. This book is so far from it that it fell off the other end of the scale. As another reviewer has said, it is a sad comment on black writing!

a must read
After a rocky marriage, irresistibly seductive Jay Crawford is ready for a new woman--and a new challenge. It doesn't take him long to discover both in one: Ashlee Anderson. With a face and body that scream sex, she's just what he's looking for--hard-to-get, feisty, and freaky. But he'd never suspect just how freaky...What should've been a one-night stand extends into months of lovemaking that's too hot to give up and designed to burn him like never before. Jay knows she definitely ain't the one and he's got to get away from her before she completely destroys his life...Great read, very entertaining! I loved the story, but hated the ending. The ending made me wonder would there be a sequel?
