Very low noise level.It’s easy to use, just plug it in to an electrical outlet (it is not powered by USB and it does not have a battery).Drop in one of the four provided spinners in to your cup and place your cup on this device. Rotate the knob clockwise past the initial click to turn it on low. Continue to turn the knob clockwise to increase the speed.When you are done, use the provided rod to fish out the spinner, as they are magnetized making it easy.The quality seems good so far, I’ve just used it a few times since getting it yesterday. But I’ll be using this one (and the others that I’m buying once I submit this review) extensively on a daily basis to mix my batches of perfume.I tried it out using a smaller glass jar with my perfume in it and it works great, as seen in my video. I also tried it out with a 200 mL thick glass cylinder and it worked just as well.

i got this for mixing e liquid and recieved it today so far its been working fantastic and isn't loud i would def recommend

I have used this a few times now and it performs great. It is a great value for the money. The variable speed gives you what you need.

So I tried it earlier today and it worked very well for what I needed it for.

I picked this up to mix dark room chemistry from dry powders and crystals, which usually take along time to mix by hand, since they must be dissolved in room-temperature water. This magnetic stirrers works great, even through plastic beakers. I can just set it and forget it, so I can work on other things while the solutions mix.I've found that it's best to set beakers and other vessels slightly off-center, so the whirlpool effect is reduced to the extent that liquid doesn't climb so far up the sides of the container to spill out, especially when the speed is set really high. This little shift on placement makes a huge difference.

This is a pretty rad little piece of laboratory-quality equipment at a nice price (at time of writing). You get the plate, the power cord, four little magnetic "pills" (not child safe in the slightest, but I imagine that's obvious), and the magnetic retrieval wand. One drops the magnet pill in the substance and turns the dial on the plate to get it spinning and stirring. This is not the strongest set-up in the world, so I would think you would want to stick to substances on the low viscosity side of the scale. I am using it for my drink powders and instant coffee after my auto-stir mug died. I am having some intermittent minor problems with the pill bouncing around in the cup rather than spinning. It appears to needs to be really perfectly centered and you have to turn the dial very, very gradually to keep it all running smoothly. But, not a huge deal, still better than my stir mug.
