I think these are great- precisely what I needed since I’m lifting off a bare concrete floor. Just a heads up to other powerlifters though: these are about ~1/2” thick and don’t compress much if at all. So it’s not the same as pulling from the floor - you have a slightly decreased range of motion. If you’re 6’ plus like Mr. Hall, this might not be noticeable, but if you’re small, it might make more of a difference to you. You could always pull from a small piece of plywood if it matters to you to... just a thought. Really nice quality though!

Solid piece, definitely helps when I lift heavier on my deads, there is a noise reduction and it protects my floors. Worth the money if you want to hit your 1rm in doors and protect your floors and equipment. The material is thick and of higher quality.
