Tormek SJ-200 Tormek Japanese Waterstone 4000 grit - Delivers a Mirror Finish - Fits T-4 and T-3

Gives a mirror finish on the bevel and works very well. BUT it’s not formed straight and displays a slight buckle when spinning. It doesn’t seem to affect the performance but it’s annoying. The wheel supplied with my T4 doesn’t and spins perfectly..

Pricey but if you are fanatical about your tools being sharp this is a must addition to the Tormek T-4. I am a professional Chef and my knives are an essential and expensive investment and an extension of my hands. I expect my knives to perform like my diners expect me to preform. The Japanese waterstone helps ensure that. Literally, when I'm done working the blade it's sharper than new and more highly polished. I examined the edge under magnification and was stunned at the mirror reflection. If you know anything about sharpening you know that the more polished the edge the more durable it is. Once you have your tools to the level of sharpness you expect you will take it to the next level when you finish with the Japanese waterstone. After that if you maintain the edge this will be the only wheel you will really need.

La rueda la utilizo en un afilador tormek, para dejar los cuchillos acabado espejo, con grano 4000 queda el acabado muy bien, recomendable

Sa au moin c'est de la pierre normal c'est tormek. Quelle différence avec celle sur j'avais avec ma meulleuse.
