We bought these for our 3.5year old daughter who is suspected as having autism. She previously had the ‘stick man’ pair, but didn’t take to them at all.It was obvious she had an ongoing oral sensory need, but we didn’t know what to try for the best.Then we stumbled across this version of the chewbuddy system. Funnily enough, she quite likes cartoon ghosts and monsters, so we figured it would be silly not to try these at least and she’s taken to them pretty well!She wears one around her neck, and we need not worry thanks to the anti-choke safety clasp.The ‘chewing mechanism’ is clearly very durable and fit for purpose - as demonstrated by us adults who gave them a hard bite and you wouldn’t know we had done so if you looked at one afterwards.The bright colours, along side the shapes, can even be used to help encourage speech and understanding. By asking her to pass the purple or the blue one, or simply asking what colour something is.Overall, a worthwhile investment. They suit our daughters needs and interests more than the pair we previously purchased.

I have two small children. One is very sensitive and chews his collars when he’s concentrating. The other has quite the temper. These chew buddies have been an absolute god send. They take them to school with them and since they’ve had them I’ve had no chewed polo shirts and no complaints about my youngest losing his temper. Teachers said they really help.

My son loves these however the ghost is already starting to come apart and he hasn't had them for a month yet. He does chew them every day though, was just hoping to get a bit more life out of them!
