Worth it
In the summer I smoke a cigar everyday. This is cutting well and I’ve probably cut 30 cigars so far. Worth the $$

Good, but no spring loading.
It's very sharp, and a good size, but not spring loaded.

Convenient,. but not a very good cutter
It tends to mutilate the cigar as it is not very sharp, but it does manage to remove the cap. I will likely keep it in the truck or backpack for 'emergency' use, but it is definitely not a go-to item.

Excellent for what it is!
Ok - as a cigar guy I have a bit of an unhealthy addiction to cutters and lighters. I have tried (and own) most of the popular accessories. My ‘go-to’ cutters are usually the Xikar XO or Xi3, and the Colibri V cutter when the vitola calls for it. My problem is I don’t often have those cutters on me when I go to my favorite cigar lounge. Enter the Screwpop Choppo (gawdawful name, IMHO)! I keep this stainless beauty on my keychain and it’s always there when I need it. The tolerances are tight. It requires a bit of force to open/close it, which means no worries in your pocket. Super-smooth and safe when closed. Nothing sharp exposed at all. At first I struggled to keep it controlled on the cut (since it’s VERY thin). However, taking a look at the instructions I saw the lanyard is meant to be held my your ring finger and pinky to stabilize it. Viola! Great cuts ever since! Is it a $100 cutter? Nope. Is it a perfect travel/keychain cutter? The best I’ve tried in my 25++ years of enjoying cigars. Just buy it and you’ll see. I bought mine directly from Screwpop and did pay full price. Oh - the bottle opener works perfectly too. :-)**update**After cutting 10-15 cigars with this it is noticeably more dull and doing more damage to expensive cigars than it’s worth. I reached out to Screwpop asking if there was any type of sharpening service or warranty, etc. I was sent back an email saying “Sometimes they cut better if you try the other side. Use the bottle opener as a reference.”This didn’t help my cutter’s performance. The company stood behind their product and offered to send a replacement. Thank you, Screwpop!!
