Awesome Faucet Water Filter!
After quite a bit of deliberation, and after reading many reviews, I decided to get this faucet water filter. Even tough the big name brands comparable units did not get very good overall ratings and reviews on their products, I was still a little skeptical of this one even with the rave reviews, as it seems to be an off brand that I'm not familiar with at all. After spending 5 minutes, yes, just 5 minutes (!) to install this unit, I am really impressed thus far with the build quality as well as the taste of the water! The features are all fantastic, and the flow of water through the filter is really impressive. My kids were even impressed with how you can turn it at an angle and drink right from the faucet!Time will tell if this unit will hold up, but the installation was really fast, the seals seem to be very tight, and we're looking forward to many, many gallons of clean, filtered water without having to use water jugs or containers in the refrigerator!

High Pressure and Hot Water, too!!!!
This unit is amazing. Besides the good looks and easy installation, it has crazy high pressure and the water tastes clean! Our unfiltered water is unfit to drink by horrible taste. The buildup on the old PUR faucet filter unit was disgusting. This unit is all metal, easy to install, and easy to change the filter. It says the filters last six months, which is almost triple the use we got out of the PUR filters...and the filters cost the same. BIG savings! Like getting three for the price of one! Of course, we have only had the unit a week and a half, so actual timing of the filter replacement is yet to be seen. Regardless, the pressure is so high that the filtered water, hot or cold, will actually splash back up off the drain! The PUR unit flow was so weak you had to put the pitcher for the coffee machine under it and do something else for a while. Our new filter services an office of a couple dozen people and comments have all been glowing. Pick this one! PS: we did not get the Teflon thread tape with ours, but the nylon washer built into the mounting ring does the job without it. If our city water pressure causes it to develop a leak, we can always add tape later. Awesome choice!

Better than PUR water filter
After buying the leading brand, PUR, and using it for over a year, I would have to say the Engdenton Filter is much better. I replaced the PUR filter twice in the span of about 18 months. After the third one, I bought the Engdenton. It is easy to install - I'm a single girl and had absolutely no issues. Sometimes it comes a little loose after using it a lot but it is so easy to tighten. The fact that it can swivel to any angle is nice at times. However, because I was used to one that didn't swivel, I've accidentally shot water up in the air and onto myself before. This filter puts out a nice steady stream. Much quicker than the PUR filter when filling up a glass. In fact, I usually don't open the tap fully or it may splash a bit.Once you're used to it, you won't make a mess though. The water flavor is good, although I noticed that you have to let it run for a bit if the water has been sitting in the filter or else it can taste a bit off.The price is worth it. Even though it costs a bit more, you won't have to replace. I've had mine for several months. Still haven't had to replace the filter even. I was worried it would go through filters quickly because of the quick water output, but the great flavor is still going strong.

Easily switch from filtered to unfiltered with great water pressure
After researching extensively, both online and in several stores, we purchased this water filtration unit for our kitchen sink. The installation was incredibly easy and took only minutes to complete (no special tools or knowledge needed). The instructions and online video were very clear and easy to follow. We noticed a significant difference in the taste of our water immediately after installation and are very happy with the purchase. The materials used feel sturdy and well made. We've experienced no leaking or pressure issues at all. The water pressure is great, glasses or pots fill quickly, and you can use it with both hot and cold water. We were happy with the price as well as the function. One price consideration that we did take into account before purchasing was not only the cost of the initial unit, but cost for replacement filters and life expectancy of each filter. This product definitely meets our needs and was an affordable option. One feature that was present with this filter (and was also one of my main requirements), but was surprisingly lacking in many similar filters, was the option to easily turn the filter on or off to extend the life of the water filter when filtered water wasn't needed. Most filters state that they're good for a certain number of gallons and they give you a ballpark idea of how long that averages (2 or 3 months, for example). I didn't want to waste filtered water for things like washing dishes or hands, but many don't give you the option to choose between filtered and unfiltered water once installed. I love that I can easily turn the knob and quickly switch from filtered to unfiltered and back again. If I had one option that I'd like to see added, it would be some sort of indicator to alert us when it's time to change the filter. It certainly wasn't a deal breaker for me, but it would be a welcome additional feature.
