Great AC, but window exhaust kit may need consumer modification to fit the window.
This AC has greatly improved the quality of my child with hyperhidrosis. He absolutely loves it. It cools quickly, looks very sleek, and the wheels are smooth. Setup was very quick and easy, with one caveat. The window exhaust kit was too long to fit in a standard USA window. It IS adjustable, but only to get LONGER, and not short enough to fit without obstructing the exhaust port. I was able to solve this easily with a miter saw. After cutting off about 4 inches (10 cm), we were in good shape. The window width is about 34 inches (86 cm), and that was too short for the window slider.Pros:- Cools extremely well- Looks nice and high tech in the bedroom- Adjustable vent fins are nice.Cons:- Isn't too loud, but this is subjective. It isn't exactly quiet.- You may have to cut down the window exhaust kit to fit properly. This could be a deal breaker for some people, so I hope they fix it.

WORTH THE INVESTMENT!!!
Honestly, a great buy. I live in FL, and I’ve had this for 2 years so far, and to deal with the heat, humidity, and the Summer time right now, it’s been holding up well. I kept up with general maintenance, like cleaning the filter, draining every month or two, and it’s strong. The sleek design makes it ideal for tight spaces, and it makes my room nice and cold, even at 75’ degrees. I have a container under it, just in case it starts to leak, I rather be safe than sorry considering I have carpet LOL (it’s happen in the past with other brands of A/C units). The mini controller it comes with works well, I try not to overuse it though, considering that it feels cheap. It’s easy to use, and if this one ever breaks down, I plan on buying the exact same one. 2 years strong, definitely worth the investment. Will update if something changes! Till then, a 5 star it is!

More pros than cons for me!
I bought this portable a/c to put specifically in my bedroom, which is not a big room. I like it cooler when I sleep and it’s just not feasible to have the central a/c work that hard for the rest of the house when I’m not in it during that time. I wanted a window a/c but alas I have side sliding windows that won’t fit one. This guy fits nicely though we did have to put a piece of styrofoam up top to completely seal it. Not a biggie. In terms of temperature accuracy, it’s spot on. If i want it to be 65, it turns on until it becomes 65 and then turns off. If the temperature rises, it turns on again. The remote is super nice. It works very well for my small room, but would not work for bigger open spaces. If you want that, this isn’t the machine for you. It’s fairly heavy, but I don’t think these machines come light. I got it on sale so I definitely feel like I’m getting value for my money. I can’t really speak too much on durability yet as I’ve had it less than a month but i’m impressed thus far! The only thing is - it’s loud. Louder than white noise. Not a problem for me - i always sleep with it but if you’re used to quiet, you’re probably not going to like it. All in all, i’d buy it again! i’m impressed and content with the coldness.

2nd Season, no issues + WHAT I WISHED I'D BEEN TOLD
Bought over a year ago for bedroom & on 2nd summer in Southeast NC without trouble/leaks. Cools well, but wish I'd bought larger size because this year's higher heat makes it run far longer (frankly, with what I've learned, I buy a more expensive dual hose inverter portable). I like a breeze, so I use a standup fan by AC to distribute cool air further. ABSOLUTELY CLEAN FILTER weekly, INSULATE* TUBE & properly SEAL window! I like that it easily rolls. Not quiet, but not awful. CHECK DECIBEL LEVELS to compare units - bought 41 Db Dehumidifier** for use elsewhere & it's significantly quieter. Understand portable units DON'T LOWER HUMIDITY like typical AC's - they work differently. Dehumidification mode didn't dent our humidity much. Know unit's gravity drained & Plug's just above wheels. I raised my AC. If you want your unit to last, do the following: Drain periodically & before storing. If output levers collect condensation, dry them often to keep water out of unit. I angle levers slightly down to prevent that & haven't noticed a difference in comfort. Clean levers & use bottle brush to clean front grill behind levers if see dust, mildew or dark spots, which can also be dust collecting in moisture.*Don't buy 6" insulation rolls marketed for portable AC's; Search for ROLLED 6" INSULATION & you'll find a smaller insulation-only seller who has 2x thicker 6" for similar price.**For those of us in very humid areas, stand-alone Dehumidifiers heat room ~5°, so be aware if thinking to combine the two.
