This lense is amazing for the price. 10X zoom is awesome! Fits my Panasonic security camera with SC threads perfect. My next step will to make pulley rings from 0.25" plexiglas and slide over zoom and focus cylinders ( secure with glue or clamps) so I can make like DIY motorized lense moving them by low RPM toy motors and buttons or toggle switches.So, buy this lense while it available!

Worked great excellent light gathering. Can see 50 ft with full moon and no IR illumination.

Nice lens. Good zoom and clarity. Used an adapter to M1 board camera. Did need an IR filter.

The project involved integrating a Raspberry Pi (with camera), a Piaware ADSB receiver, and a Arduino-based pan&tilt servo platform to provide tracking and video streaming of nearby aircraft. The magnification provided by the lens is sufficient to visually identify aircraft 5-10 nm range (depending on aircraft size) and not too heavy for the servo platform to effortlessly track the aircraft. The only real difficulty was adjusting the focus at the magnification I wanted and getting it to lock down without changing focus.I have no idea what "sheerness" means, so I gave it a "3".

Great quality lens, no significant spherical or chromatic aberrations. I am using it with 8MP USB arducam module. All metal construction, everything is smooth and not rattling. For some reason, the zoom ring is marked as N-Inf, while the focusing is W-T. Not a big deal.
