Tips that actually help
These are great and super easy but require at least an hours time, patience, and multiple packs.Supplies-2 packs of 2 of the temporary tattoos.(spend the $10) trust me.A headband and pony tail for fly away hair. A mirror with great lighting.Small bowl of cold water and wash cloth.A dry towel to keep any thing from getting wet that you don’t want wet.A work station that can get wet and one that can’t. (I learned the hard way to set the extras tattoos completely out of the way not just off to side.)Toner and cotton pads( to cleanse face before starting, to help remove after, and to also fix mistakes. )Steps-1. Wash face completely and don’t apply any products, even moisturizer. 2. Dry skin completely and apply toner all over with cotton pad to remove any oils. Don’t skip this step. 3.take product out of package but leave plastic on front of the tattoos until after cutting out each tattoo( this part took awhile). Set the tattoos in the dry area. 4. Organize tattoos according to stock photo included and customize as desired. (I didn’t use every piece but got creative I think. ) 5. Start applying from top to bottom. Choose which tattoo to start with and that’s easy to center the look. (I did the double rose on forehead first). 6. To apply chose the Tattoo and then REMOVE PLASTIC ON FRONT. Place tattoo in desired spot and then apply a dripping wet cold wash cloth to tattoo and hold pressure for 15-30secs. For the smaller pieces I held on the lower side, like 10 secs but it still turned out great. 7. When done, you don’t need to apply any products to the face after, but I did cover up things like zits and flaws with concealer. (Just a little). To remove after- Haven’t figured this out, not as easy as everyone says. I tried toner, lotion, cleanser, and soaking my face in a warm bath and only got like 80% and then I went to sleep lol. I’m going to try baby oil and I’ll update if that works!Hope this helps!Update! I had coconut hair oil I put on a cotton pad and the tattoos came off way easier. It still took almost a whole day and 3 scrub cycles to remove completely. 100% worth the effort, would do again.

exactly what I needed
I got this for a relay race in which our team was doing a Day of the Dead theme. I was very nervous to put it on. I was worried after reading other reviews, about how there are so many little tattoos to put on, and it is tricky to get it on straight. Well, I made sure to get up early enough to get the job done, and started to snip the tattoos apart and put them on starting with my forehead and working to my chin. I was pleased that every time I counted to about 20 seconds then took the wet rag off and every time it stuck on flawlessly. Around my eyes was very tricky and they did not match exactly and one of them had a line that slipped on the side of my nose however It was so miner that someone would have to look closely to see the flaws. I also had a small problem with stray hair getting stuck in the tattoo. I could have easily solved that with using a head band (I only used an elastic hair tie, which must not have caught my stray short hairs). As I worked towards my mouth, there were some smaller tattoos (the dots), but I was able to get them on with out problems. I was interested in this set over others because it came with two sets, however I did not need the second set and it is still complete to use another day.Well, the day of the race it rained. Some members of our team (there were at least 20 of us) used face paint, they started out beautiful, but after a fun in the rain they looked like zombies. This tattoo looked just as good after a the long day as it did when I first put it on.

Easier than intricate face painting
Most pieces worked well. Only downside was the difficulty of using the around the eye tattoos. They were quite fragile to use and I ended up doing free hand painting for the effect.

Disappointed
I love using these face tattoos for Halloween for my Catrina costume but I have never used the glitter ones. I usually do the similar pattern but without the glitter. I tried these because I loved that they had a rose/more flowers on the forehead versus spider webs. But I tried two different sets and they just didn’t transfer as well as the non glitter ones. The leaves and flowers broke into pieces, some parts didn’t transfer at all despite using the same amount of water across all tattoos. It was disappointing to say the least and I didn’t get to do my eyes at all this year. I’ll definitely go back to the no glitter option next year.

Easy to apply and looks awesome!
Best temporary tattoos ever! I was nervous about applying these to my face because I have pretty sensitive and oily skin... I used a really good toner with rose water before applying and this temporary tattoo could have stayed on for a whole 24 hours! It didn't cause my skin to break out so I was happy about that :-) I ended up washing it off that night because I didn't want anything getting all over my pillow LOL. It is pretty easy to apply, the only thing I would do differently next time I apply these would be putting the eye pieces over or above my eyebrow... When I applied it I put it underneath my eyebrow but next time I would definitely do it the other way. I got lots of compliments, and I really liked how it turned out!*** here are my tips for applying these temporary tattoos: make sure your face is freshly washed or use astringent toner before applying. Use the photo it comes with for reference and cut out each tattoo individually, I recommend cutting the eye pieces in half then cutting each half into a rainbow shape(along the edge and shape of the tattoo) to match the arch of the eye, it is extremely easy to apply just hold it on to your skin and use a warm wet washcloth and press on the edges. Peel the tattoo paper off one edge at a time slowly, and it will turn out perfect! Also I just used a really cheap black cream makeup to fill in the eyes.

Day of the death face decals
Garbage! Fell apart I couldn’t get them to stick in my face! It was a disaster. Tried it on the day of Halloween and had to go quickly come up with another disguise as I couldn’t do anything with this. Threw it away where it belonged…. in the trash! !

Great Looks Like Makeup
I tried these they are excellent. Everyone thought I spent hours doing my makeup. No one at the party thought it was Tattoo. Your face must be completely clean & dry before applying these tattoos. No makeup on face or they will not stick! Also you get 2 pairs with this purchase. TIP... use a wet makeup SPONGE to apply the tattoos works fast and well.
