I recommend using two people to assemble
I've had multiple issues with this machine. It gets the job done for myself. My wife has more complaints about the machine than me. My first issues arose during assembly. One of the bolt holes was misaligned. My only options were to drill the hole bigger or use a smaller bolt. After consulting with Yukon customer service, the decision to use a smaller bolt was made as it wouldn't compromise the integrity of the machine. See attached pics to see the misalignment. Customer service stated I was apparently the first and only person with this issue, and they had not hear of this problem before. The rest of assembly went smoothly. I recommend using two people to assemble, I managed by myself but it was a pain. Our biggest issue is the carriage that holds that weight does not function properly. When my wife tries to use light weight plates (i.e. 5lb plates) the carriage gets "stuck" at the top and will not go back down. I've used multiple different lubrication's recommend by customer service and still have the same problem. The next solution from customer service was to disassemble the machine and "file" the bushings on the carriage. After my headache of assembly I have to yet disassemble the machine and try this solution. I really don't think I should have to take apart the equipment and file it myself to make it work correctly. Customer services has been attentive, and responds quickly but their solutions aren't the best or most helpful to my situation. When I use the machine I use a lot heavier weight than my wife and have no problems with weight carriage getting stuck. It would be nice to be able to use a some light weights for high reps sometimes but I make do without. Machine is solid, and looks awesome in my home gym. If I had to do it again I'd probably spend more money and get a machine with the built in weight stacks.

A must have in a home gym
Read the subject again. That says it all. If you know anything about gym equipment, you know that there is a wide variety of exercises that can be done with one of these. Although the price tag is a little pricey, you're not going to find an adjustable cable crossover system any cheaper and I'd have to say its well worth it...After reading one of these reviews, I decided to make my purchase. I just got it all put together last weekend and decided to give it a test run. TRUST ME! This machine is freaking AWESOME!!!!!!! If you have the money buy it. Plus this machine is substantially lower price wise than the ones with the weight stacks, which usually only go up to like 200 pounds. This thing is rated for 450 pounds each! that's crazy!!! I put 255 (all the weights I had) and did some seated rows and it worked great! Thanks to this machine I will never have to own a gym membership again. So quit reading this review and purchase it already!!!!!Oh and make sure you use some pretty good engine grease on the slides. That's a key a getting the most out of a machine like this

Home Gym
When I opened this and tried to assemble it, I noticed two of the washers and bolts that complete the plate carrier assembly/cable attachment were missing. I was more than a little annoyed that I had to buy these at Home Depot in order to complete putting this together, but I made it work. However, since the initial build, I've literally put one of the sides together no less than three times now because it is difficult to get the right tension on both cable plate assemblies. The chin up/pull up bar is fantastic. Product feels solid. Putting it together by yourself is damn near impossible unless you're 6'5" or taller. Getting the cable routing and tension correct for both sides is a chore. Always seems like one of the sides is working smoother than the other. I do like the fact that I can put weight plates on it though and it is rated at a weight most mere mortals can't even fathom. I believe most stack weighted cable machines only go up to 200 or so pounds. You don't worry about capping out like that on this machine. This isn't something that fits in the average basement. Mine is in my garage with plenty of ceiling clearance.

Yukon fitness Com 300
Was a good price, had several issues with paint pealing and rust on several parts I contacted company direct and they sent new parts but 1 was made with plastic sleeves for weights (mine had metal)after contacting Yukon fitness 3 times...there customer service would tell me that they were in meeting or not in office and then they just stopped responding to my efforts of fixing machine....this machine was made extremely poor quality, welding was not centered on pieces and looks like quality control for company needs to have better training....you would expect a company of this high standard to be more professional....I had several friends opening gyms and told them the problem with Yukon fitness (don't buy!!!!)

Hubby loves it!
As soon as this came in, my husband and I put it together. Assembly was easy but time consuming. Directions were simple to follow and yes, you do need 2 people to put parts of it together. (but not all) He was excited to find a machine with free weights instead of stacks and one that had so many adjustable heights. He did end up purchasing some extra attachments for a greater workout program. FYI: This ships via a logistics comapany and came in 2 flat boxes.

Want a cable cross over machine for a good price? This is it. I
Want a cable cross over machine for a good price? This is it. It uses olympic weights, so you can transfer them from bars to the machine and not have to have a horde of weights. Good solid construction, very easy to build. I recommend it.

Review of Yukon Cable Crossover
This was the cheapest cable crossover machine I could find with all the features I wanted. The quality is average. Residential quality. What I expected. However, the quality of the paint and finish was poor. A lot of paint chips and areas of surface rust. Not what I expected from a new unit.
