You can spray directly on the wood (do not saturate) or the best way to tackle this job is to first wash/wipe down the surfaces with warm water using a cloth/sponge (NO CHEMICALS), allow to dry or force dry with an air/blower dryer. Zero Odor can be used on leather, We first recommend that you test Zero Odor in inconspicuous location just to be sure there are no issue with color fastness. Once you have tested the area, the best way to remove the odor is to first thoroughly wipe with a sponge/cloth and warm water (no chemicals) and allow to dry (you can use a hair dryer to force dry if you have one). Once dry, spray moderately with Zero Odor, then wait about 30 seconds, and then wipe the leather surface with a soft towel. This is to prevent any possible spotting, which all liquids run the risk of doing on leather. Please remember depending on how deeply penetrated the odor is you may have to spray several times.
