I would have liked the actual lettering to be the size it gave in the description. I was looking for them to be abit bigger. They are ok though.

I have to say, at first I felt I could "create my own stencils" and took a pass on these. I quickly learned that wasn't going to work for this gal. I'm lucky I lived through it or didn't cut my finger off. So back to Amazon I came and purchased these Reusable Stencil Set. I carefully lined up the letters and applied the cream. Ten minutes later, my glass looked amazing. Note that this is my first time ever stenciling. No doubt, your going to have to tape around the letters and I would also recommend putting a small strip of tape on any gap that you have. Remember if the cream can get to it, that part of the glass is going to be etched. The stencils came off easily and I put them back on the sheet to use again. They seemed to dry pretty quickly so I feel that if I wanted to move onto another project right away, I could have. Now I'm off to find more stencils. Good luck.

Was disappointed in the small size of the stencils. Was hoping for something a little bigger

I love these stencils. I've already had to use the same letters four times and they are still sticking! They were so easy to use with the Armour Etch! Decorative stencils were also included which I used on the salt and pepper shakers. What I really like is you get one set of Upper Case Alphabets and two sets of lower case alphabets. I'm sure these stencils will be used numerous times. I'm so proud my vase looks very professional! It does what the advertisement states!

I got these to make individualized glasses for my wedding party and close family members. It was a lot of fun to play around with, and the glasses turned out great. I reused letters and decals several times, and they held up well, still maintaining their adhesive ability. It was a pain to put them on carefully with gloves (since they kept sticking to the gloves), but once I was putting them on without any gloves, it went very smoothly. I would recommend using painters tape around the area you are etching so that the solution can be put on thick enough, but doesn't drip and ruin your glass.

Having no talent in the crafting area, words cannot express how thrilled I was to be able to make up our own themed sets of glasses using Over n Over stencils with the nautical theme! Takes no time at all, no mess (just take a little care and not be sloppy), and they work WONDERFULLY!! This is my second purchase of a stencil set. Looking forward to customizing some things with this set!

I have ordered several of this brand of stencil with no problems. The self adhesive aspect was perfect for stenciling on any surface, but the floral stencil in this set was extremely hard to get off the sheet so hard that one stencil actually ripped so I was apprehensive about using it on a leather project. I had no problems with using these types of stencil on leather before though. The alphabet stencils were fine. I still give these stencils 5 stars. Usually works well on any surface including leather and wood. Would recommend. Shipped and delivered quickly and in good condition.
