I love this stuff! It's not perfect, as it goes on VERY sticky and takes around 15 minutes to dry, but once it's on, baby, it's ON. It does not budge. It doesn't smear, or flake, or rub off on cups, silverware, clothing, or other people (lol.) It has a smooth, dry, matte feel once it's set that is barely noticeable. It is quite pigmented. It's not sheer like a lipgloss, but it's not as opaque as lipstick. I usually use one coat for daytime, and a second coat for evening or special occasions.In the picture I've been wearing one coat all day. This is at home after 10 hours of work, (modeling my new glasses.) You can see it's still almost perfect.I've picked up a couple other colors and love them just as much.

I know this product has some mixed reviews and I can understand the tackiness concern and the layering issues but for me it’s a win. I lined my lips with Nyx espresso lip liner and used the shade wild at heart. It’s a beautiful berry. It is a matte semi blurry finish that has sort of unbelievable staying power. I brushed my teeth three times it stayed on. Took a shower and it stayed on. I’ve had no transfer issues. I like the applicator it’s slightly flexible and develops a semi blurry look. I wouldn’t compare it to the fwee pudding pot in terms of a blurred look but I found it workable. I tried to remove with garnish fructis micellar water and no dice. It did however remove with a neutrogena makeup remover wipe. After using for a weekend I purchased another shade and plan to purchase more sheerly based on the staying power and ease of application. I did up to 3 layers and ran into no issues.Will purchase again and while I understand many experiences are totally warranted I really liked this product.

Nice lipstick but very drying. I like the long wear lipsticks and have been wearing them for years. I love the color and how it stays but these are more drying than any other I have used and I've tried a lot. I have to put a moisture lipstick on before putting this one on because it's so drying. I also add lip gloss stick I carry in my pocket as the day goes on. It lessens the staying power some by using a moisture lipstick and letting that dry first. I used a very light one so it wouldn't change the color much. But it did help keep my lips from becoming VERY dry. They still get dry which is something you deal with if you dont want to worry about reapplying your lipstick several times a day. Its still on when I get up.in the morning. I.like way it shades down as it's on longer.

I love this product but it was shipped without a plastic wrapping. The lid must have loosened during shipping because the product spilled and the formula dried a bit. So now it applies flakey on my lips. Sigh. The shade is great though. Totally a match for a nude for me. So I am a little disappointed in how it arrived (shown in picture - I only did a cleanup on the outside). I would recommend the product though. It is smudge resistant once it dries and has some longevity.

This lip stain is long lasting with a very reasonable price. I previously purchased a much more expensive lip stain that goes on blue and then you wipe the blue off and this one lasts longer and doesn’t take a minute before I can leave the restroom! It arrived same day and the colors are same as pictures. I have blended two colors and like the results. There is no smell that I noticed and other than a bit of stickiness at just the time of application, my lips feel fine and it takes gloss really well and still remains on for a number of hours.

Wow. Another stain that claims to last.....This one actually does! I ordered and fully expected to return due to other colorstay products from this brand that did not last. The color is pretty and buildable to a bolder look, if desired. Based on recommendations to heavily hydrate lips prior to application, I fully agree. The look and feel is a matte with a dry finish. Warning, if you add anything over the top it will take off the color, but I have found some success with the gloss/sticks that comes with colorstay products (revlon, covergirl, maybelline) that will not remove the color. Winter time might be tricky with the dry skin, BUT I will definately be buying more colors!

Love the color. And this stuff STAYS ON until you wash it off. I've put it on in the morning - drink coffee/tea, water all day including meals of all kinds. You want to put it on and then let it dry for at least 15 minutes. Not too thick. It is a tiny bit cakey. It is very matte as most of the 'stains' are. It doesn't taste or smell weird. It does tend to dry out your lips. So I recommend night time moisture. I did try a number of colors but this one is the one I use the most. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
