I installed 6 of these in my office ceiling. I used the gimbal lights because parts of the ceiling are slanted with the roof line, and I wanted to be able to point the lights at paintings on the wall, and zero in on my desk for better lighting.THESE LIGHTS ARE WONDERFUL because:1. Low wattage LEDs that provide very nice lighting.2. Provide very bright lighting, though I installed them on a dimmer switch and they dim nicely.3. You can select the "whiteness" color of the lights. This is very nice. It is done with a switch setting on the wire box when installing the lights. You can change the setting after install by pulling the lamp and wiring box down and resetting your selection.4. They are very flexible to point in any direction needed.5. Closed housing and "IC" rated - Meaning there is no gaps where air can flow from your attic into your room and insulation can be in-contact with the housing ("IC"). This makes them very energy efficient from a heating/cooling perspective.6. Very easy to install. The wiring box could be a bit more sturdy, but they work fine. Just be careful not to bend the housing when running and connecting the wires. They do provide easy to use 4-port wire connectors - a nice plus.Anyway, I can't say enough about how happy I am with these lights!

great lights, easy to install, crisp clean modern look, and adjustable and swivel style projection. The lights have a switch on the electric box plate to adjust the color temp in 3 different levels. Make sure you adjust the light color level to match the others before inserting into the ceiling

These lights are very nice looking. They're made of metal, not plastic. Very good quality. The lights are bright and can be aimed. Very easy to install. Don't use the included push in wire connectors though. I recommend Wago connectors. These work well with the dimmer that was already installed, no flicker. The other lights in my kitchen are 4000k. I found setting these lights to 3500K match perfectly, 4000k was just a bit whiter. 5 stars all the way.

Needs correct dimmer to work. Love the five color temperature options they are perfect! The swivel and rotation are great.Lutron Maestro LED+ dimmer works great! I got the maestro with companion dimmer for three-way switch to dim these.Flickered badly at all light levels when paired with Lutron Toggler LED+ Dimmer for about $23; it also worked poorly with other LED bulbs as well.

The light units appear to be well made and I like the way they swivel. The junction boxes are a bit flimsy and the space for joining wires is quite small. If you just have one wire coming in to connect to one light you'll be fine. if you have one wire in and one wire out for wiring an array of these lights, it will be tight and you better be using 14 ga wire (getting 12 ga wires squished in there would be very hard). If you have one in and two out to suit the matrix of lights you're putting in, I expect it would be a real struggle (the ceiling I'm doing would benefit from this but I'm not even going to try - I'll find another way).The paper cutout template they provide in the box is the right size but it is labelled "Cutout Hole 4.8" (160mm)" - The 160 mm is correct, it is 6.25".UPDATEI've now finished installing 14 of these. I think everything mentioned above stays true. The thin metal on the junction boxes does make it hard to get snap-in style strain reliefs installed, but it is possible. The push-to-connect connectors they provide are good. The junction box is full when you have one wire in and one wire out (see photo). The detents on the hinged junction box cover do not adequately hold the cover closed once you stuff all the wires inside - I ended up using a wrap of electrical tape around the box to make sure it stayed closed (see photo). All things considered, still a pretty good light.

Very nice lights easy to install and very easy to adjust the eyeball for light direction and color temp.

Cool light, excellent featurs

It was so hard to figure what lights to buy for a custom cabinet I had built. I’m glad I researched long enough to find these. They are great, see pictures attached. I had them installed by an electrician who worked with my cabinet maker. They came in a package of 6. I only used 4 and figured I’d have a couple of back up ones. I had a dimmer light switch installed for them and they dim well. I think these are great value for the money.
