Detoria 5.6 Inch Acrylic Indoor/Outdoor CCTV Clear Dome Camera Cover Security Dome Camera Housing

Looked all over to find a safety enclosure for a grade school gym security cameras. This Dome fit the bill, was East amount, and left plenty of room for the camera inside.

The product did not work for my application. So now I need to return it ... TO CHINA! WHAT?? The cost to return is 60% of what the item costs! Thanks, Amazon! That is deceptive !

My little doggies, got partially paralyzed, but has regained enough mobility to trot around that house and still be a dog, doing dog things. He can’t use his doggies steps any longer to climb up to a chair to look out the window to see who’s coming….he would just sit and bark and bark cuz he could hear stuff, but no way for him to peer out a window….so…this camera cover got installed smack dab in the middle of our front door, through the kicker plate area….and now….my little doggie can trot on over peer out his bubble window and see who’s coming to visit. No more endless barking. We love this little bubble window, and our doggie loves it too.

Requirements: We needed a dome housing that fit and to protect our Blink Security Camera. Pros: Size - Housing fit the Blink camera w/ standard mount nicely.👍 Thickness - Sturdy, solid, and secure💪🏼 Sheerness - good video quality even though solid plastic dome.👁👁 Cons: Shipping - very long delivery/shipping time. 1 month+🥴 *Inferred - Dome block IR. Thus impedes night vision and motion sensing. This is a big problem for a blink and other systems that require those features!😭 Modifications: - drill/cut an opening for a solar panel usb power cord to connect to the Blink. 🛠🔩 - drill/cut an opening for motion sensor IR to operate decently🛠🔩 - note: with the right tools drilling, cutting and installing is a breeze. However, estimating and cutting and opening for the IR while not obstructing the video quality and not weakening the structures integrity too much was a BIG challenge!🥴 Value for the Money - calculating the pros, cons and modifications required for a blink system, I would not recommend it because of the IR issue.👎 However if your system doesn't require IR and if it fits your camera, this is a good quality product.👍

I returned these because they did not fit my purpose. They probably would be good for what they are made for, but I was wanted to use them for a different reason.

I’ve made two custom enclosures for my PTZ Samsung SmartCams, these fit the bill perfectly. Item ships from China but still arrived in a little over a week (pretty good imo) it was well packaged and had a protective film applied to guard against scratches. Excellent product and I ordered a second unit & have received it. The second dome also arrived in flawless condition and sooner than expected. I’m not associated with any product and received nothing in return for my review. I do recommend this product.

It was the right size for my camera

I bought a security system for our house at the beach , because of the salinity we bought 8 domes to protect the cameras , just to find out that you can’t use IR , it causes reflection and you can’t see anything at all
