Love this knife
Love this knife I’m quite the collector of knives. Pocket knives full tang knives and so on. And really love the design of this knife seems to be really good quality good quality metal. Really easy to get a sharp edge. It’s not too heavy but it’s also not to light. The handle nice and ergo nomic. Holds nicely in the hand so yeah seems to be good quality materials love the design on the blade. Value for me money

Impressive knife for the price.
This is a surprisingly impressive knife. Very well made from quality materials and comes well sharpened although will benefit from some honing & polishing of the edge. The point is extremely sharp! I've read some reviews on here where people claim that the handle is too small but it is not if you understand how it is meant to be held. Your little finger goes through the metal ring and three fingers wrap around the remaining handle space. Alternatively for an overhead stab , your forefinger goes through the ring instead. It's compact & robust with full tang & a good 4mm thick down the spine. The sheath looks good but is useless. Throw it away and get yourself a real leather one custom made from your local leatherworks.Overall my new favourite knife for next to no money 👌

Solid enough, and sharp, not the best finish, not corrosion resistant. Reasonable value
I got this for camping expeditions, partly on the strength of glowing reviews. On the plus side, it's solid and it comes pretty sharp - more or less "shaving" sharp, more convincingly so after gentle honing. Which demonstrates that it will take an edge. I like the blade shape and the overall profile of the knife, and the fact that it's a full tang design made from a sturdy chunk of steel. On the minus side, mine is not symmetrically ground, with the hollow grind at the point being about 5mm deeper on one side than the other, which is, in my opinion, beyond the expected inconsistencies of something hand-made, and well into "sloppy". This is a cheap knife, and it looks and feels it.The scales are a little too thick for my taste, and the steel rivets came pre-rusted, despite the knife being oiled and wrapped in cellophane by the manufacturer. There are knives on the market in the same price bracket with a considerably better fit and finish. This knife appears to be made from flat stock that has been, I guess, hot stamped with the texture and then ground to shape. The sheath most certainly isn't leather, and I'd hesitate even to call it "imitation leather" because typical "pleather" is usually much better. It remains to be seen how the blade holds its edge, though I've found even cheap and poorly heat-treated steels will keep an edge reasonably well provided they're sharpened properly (i.e. not with a steel or drag-sharpener or whatever). I've used it for a bit of camping food prep on wooden boards and it still shaves arm hairs.I've put it away somewhere dry for a couple of months and the blade hasn't gone rusty. I've not made any attempt to test its hardness. On the aesthetic and ergonomic fronts, while I hoped the stamped pattern would grow on me, I'm not really a fan of it. I do prefer this blade shape over any of the smooth-sided knives offered by the same maker on Amazon, though. The finger hole makes a great lanyard attachment or finger hole for "fidget" use, but threading a finger through it while cutting things feels (to me) fairly horrible, and gripping it conventionally is made less comfortable by the scales not extending to the end.I wasn't sure how I'd find either the 3/4 length scales or the texture, from simply looking at pictures, but having held and used the knife I could readily do without either. I will at some point get around to making new full length scales for it that cover the finger hole. Your mileage may vary, it's definitely a matter of personal preference.Wanting to use it for food, and being a clean freak, I was concerned that the texture might be too much of a dirt trap, but actually it seems easy enough to clean with a cloth or brush. Despite my use case, though, this is a knockabout camp, bushcraft or backpacking knife, not a chef knife - the thick blade and hollow grind is not ideal for slicing, at all. But it is tough - you could make kindling, chop firewood, etc. and it's still useable for chopping fruit and veg if you don't want to have to carry additional knives. It could do with lighter, full-length scales with brass rivets.Overall, then, mixed feelings about this one. It's a good basic shape, it can be sharpened to a convincing edge, and it's certainly very strong. The blade is 4mm thick at the spine, you could baton this with no concerns at all. On the other hand it's cheaply made and its novel texture and finger-hole are an acquired taste. The weird texture does help it to not stick when cutting e.g. cheese. I would say it's OK for the amount I paid (just under thirty quid) but not a bargain, and there's certainly better available for similar money.
