ALEX Toys Craft Very Merry Ornaments

This craft was a big hit with my 5/6 year old son. We made them on a long road trip. He's not super crafty, so it was a Together project. I handed him the sticky pieces and he put them on the strips by himself. And then I assembled the ornament. He was SO proud of his ornament, he hung it in his room instead of on the Christmas tree. When I put the Christmas stuff away, he wanted to know why I put his ornament away too, lol. I highly recommend this kit - great fun - and it takes some time if done correctly, so it's a good value for your entertainment dollar. It makes a lot of ornaments, so we have some left to make next year.

I bought this for my kids' and their friends as one of the crafts for our annual Kids' Christmas. The kids loved designing their own ornament. The materials are well made and they are easy enough for the younger ones (6) to do them on their own as well. If you want to save it for future years, I suggest getting a box to hold it in, otherwise, the ribbons will smash and it is a little hard to make it look like its original design.

I bought this for two 7 year old girls and a 9 year old. The 9 year old read the directions and had no problem making the ornaments. She enjoyed the activity and proudly hung the ornaments on the tree. One 7 year old become frustrated (lacked the dexterity) and was too impatient. The 7 1/2 year old, who is very patient, was able to complete the task on her own, and enjoyed the activity.

My 5 year old who is very skilled with detailed work has enjoyed making these but does find the last step pretty tricky. The directions are clear and the design makes it easy to make them as pictured, which is good. They look good when they are done though they're a little flimsy weight wise. Good solid craft. Note that you get 6 all together.

cute project from Santa. My daughter got confused on how to make them though and felt it was "too difficult" and I just never got around to looking at it myself. I will check it next year.

Very pretty easy craft. Lots of prep work to get the little stickers and jewels on the papers to make the ornaments. But fun.

These where fun for my kids to make and very cute when finished! Only 4 stars cause they're just made out of paper strips and easily smashed and bent

We had a blast putting these together. Ironically, the 6 year breezed through hers, the 8 year old and I did okay but had to work at it. Need some dexterity for jewel stickers since tiny and we put less strips on each "bulb" because the full 18 was just too much. Good memory maker! We initialed and dated a strip on each.

Item is as described but I would not recommend for smaller kids. A lot of small pieces that would be too hard

Lovely ornaments for children to make. Very good value. It arrived much quicker than I expected.
