Olivina Men Aluminum Free Deodorant, Ginger Beer, 3-Ounce

Final conclusion (product test below), this product meets expectations for an all natural deodorant, without the obnoxious irritation or clothing staining complaints I’ve seen in other products. The Bourbon Cedar deodorant has a good smell however doesn't even last an hour in inactive situations. Just normal walking around and I start to smell in 30 minutes. I wore it to the gym and it did not keep me fresh. Deodorants like Schmidts work a lot better, I think the Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) retains the scent. This clear gel type does not retain the scent at all.

I'm fortunate to not be an incredibly sweaty person, so I don't have to buy antiperspirant deodorant. I've also developed really intense allergic reactions to most of the deodorants on the market nowadays (I get nasty rashes and my skin peels like crazy) so I really wanted to find something a bit more natural and less harsh on my body. Plus, I've read really bad stuff about aluminum in deodorant and how it deposits in your glands over years of deodorant use.This stuff is GREAT! It certainly doesn't stop me from sweating (as it's not an antiperspirant), but it smells so good and it definitely helps combat the scent of my sweat when I DO end up sweating. It overpowers my stanky pits and when I get REALLY sweaty, I just apply a little more. It's very much a "musky" scent but I really dig it. Only slight complaint is that it's a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. It's not for everyone, but I give it my approval. It's the only deodorant I buy.

This deodorant is lovely and has a fresh, clean smell. However, if you want all day and into the evening stink protection this, like all natural deodorants won’t last the whole day. But, it’s the price you pay for aluminum free/natural deodorant.

Smells great but it has no staying power. I had to reapply it a couple times and I was just sitting around the house. I'd have to carry this around with me if I wanted to use it while at work.

I think this may depend on a person's body chemistry but I got this as a stocking-stuffer for my partner and even though it smells wonderful initially, it doesn't help to contain body odor. To test it out, I wore it myself for a few days and felt that it was true for me as well (though maybe not as much). I think it is still worth trying out to see if it works well for you.

I really think the scent of the bourbon cedar is great. I use the bar soap and even have the candle, I like it a lot. However, the deodorant doesn't protect very long at all. I'm not an overly active guy and it would be a rare occurrence for this deodorant to last even half of a day. I stopped using it after a month or so and I'm back to my Old Spice.

I've used Olivina products for a while now (Body Wash, sprays, hair stuff) I was excited to try this deodorant. After my second use, I began to fell irritation, led to a horrible rash and painful sensation. Not sure what ingredient is in it that caused that. If you have sensitive skin, might want to do some research on it's ingredients before buying.
