HereRopes are the best! I have several different ones. They are all great! I’d suggest getting the 1/4lb and 1/2lb ropes before getting the 1lb. The 1lb is hard core. They all are. You gotta work your way up…..

I really like this jump rope. I use a weighted rope at my gym sometimes and the metal connection sometimes hits my finger somehow and leaves welts. However, this jump rope is made well and doesn't hit my hand at all! Still hurts to be whacked by a heavy rope when you mess up the jump though. The size small works well for me at 5'2 and it came with instructions about how to shorten it if needed. I didn't need to though so I can't comment on how difficult or easy it would be to cut through the cable and reassemble things. It didn't look too difficult though. My only issue is that its definitely not a 1lb rope in total. I weighed the whole rope (so with the handles) and it came out to .6lbs. I'm not sure if this is a manufacturing error because the item description says the rope should be .5-.6lbs and total weight 1-1.1 lbs. It might just be that I got the size small though. I'm assuming the largest size would be heavier due to the extra length. Overall, if you don't care about it being exactly 1 lb, I'd highly recommend it. It swings smoothly and the handles feel premium and comfortable. Quick tip, if the cable won't unfurl, just hang it on something for a few hours and it'll straighten out no problem.

It’s a bit pricey but the quality feels great. Honestly impressed by how well this is made and how nice it feels, I feel bad to use it on concrete now lol. Anyway. Get this, this is the rope you’re looking for. Killer workout, 90 seconds and my hands are falling off.

Today September 19 2025 I received my jump rope I order from this company well it turns out to be something I wasn’t expecting to see on the website it said 1lb heavy jump rope actually it’s far far to be 1lb jump rope as someone who be doing jump rope this is not a real 1lb heavy rope, well to compare to Crossrope it’s far from being same, this rope is a duplicate of crossrope 1/2 lbs jump rope, well to be fair the rope is okay not bad for those who are new in jumpe rope world. I think I’ll rate it 2 stars because I was expecting heavier than this, also the handle is very light.

Gets five stars from me, this is my third hererope and was equally pleased as with my other two ropes great ropes definitely recommend 100 percent !
