I love Brickell Men's products. I have yet to try a product that I did not like, and the Styling Hair Powder can be added to that list.I was looking to try something new for styling my hair, because my current styling paste that I use can leave my hair feeling like straw and look a bit greasy, even though it is supposed to have a matte finish. I chose Brickell's Styling Hair Powder, because it claims that it is non-greasy with a matte finish and medium hold. They couldn't have described it better.The first time I applied this product I was a little confused, because I am used to applying styling pastes or pomades, and this product is just like applying baby powder. Also, the first time I applied I waited a bit too long after my shower, so my hair was very dry and it was not as easy to apply. However, when I applied it the next time I made sure my hair was damp and it applied very easily. You only need a small amount in you hand and you just start working it through you hair. It instantly absorbs and you almost wonder if it is there at all, because it is worked in so quickly. Once you style your hair it again almost feels like there is nothing at all, but when your hair dries there is a "weighty" feeling to your hair. It was great!The product was not greasy at all and it had a matte finish and a natural feel, almost as if the product wasn't there ; however, when I went to restyle my hair after a breeze or after moving around a bit, it was easy to style and held in place. I will note that I have shorter hair, but I think this product would work well even if I had longer hair, as long as it didn't need significant styling.I highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a product that leaves your hair looking natural and non-greasy, but wants a bit of styling.

I use Brickell’s pomade products and shampoo and conditioner which I really like. I saw the powder and decided to give it a try since I have really fine hair and prefer a matte natural look.Overall this product exceeded my expectations which was not a surprise since I have liked most of the Brickell products I have tried. I did have to get used to when is the best time to apply the product post shower and how wet/dry my hair needed to be. I found best results when waiting for my hair to be mostly, but not completely dry.I expect this product to last a long time since I have been using it for about 2 weeks and it does feel much different in the amount left in the bottle from when I purchased it.I found the product very easy and straight forward to apply. My hair has a very matte and natural look, and does appear fuller. The product doesn’t clump or weigh down hair which I really like, and I found the hold to last the full day. I got rained on a couple times and after my hair dried I was still able to style it. Overall I really like this product and will continue to use it.

One of the things I don't like about hair products is the stickiness, the goopiness along with the hard helmet hair it provides. I've tried a multitude of products and was disgusted with the choices. So I was hesitant to try this new product.But something told me to try this hair powder as it seemed different. And I'm glad I did. As I've gotten older it seems like my hair is getting flatter. I'm sure there is a scientific reason, but it can be frustrating. However, using this hair powder has instilled my faith in the use of hair products. It's so easy to use too. With dry hands, shake the container of powder into your hands, then massage it into your hair. That easy. Style your hair the way you like it and your hair stays in place. It looks natural and feels like there is nothing in your hair. To be honest, I'm very surprised but I am also very happy. There is one thing I learned quickly, make sure your hair is fully dry. The first time I used it, my hair was slightly damp. But I quickly resolved that by rinsing my head with water. Then I let it fully dry before using the powder.I can't tell you how pleased I am with this product. It even gives me confidence knowing my hair looks good without looking like a helmet or a greasy mess. I highly recommend it. It's very much worth a try!

In a word: wow! I was intrigued by the idea of a dry hair powder. Most styling products have been good at holding my hair in one style but matted down my thin hair at the same time. My experience with Brickell Men's Styling Hair Powder was different. The product is completely dry and took a bit to figure out how to apply it so that it was spread through my hair. But the results were visible. My hair had volume, looked dry, but still stayed in place. After using the product for several days, I went back to my old styling product for one day to double check the difference. There was no doubt how much more volume my hair had with the Brickell Men's Styling Hair Powder.One final note that I am surprised does not get talked about more: every frequent traveler should consider hair powder for their travel bag. One less product to try to fit into the quart ziploc you are allowed to carry on!
