I love Brickell Men's products. I have yet to try a product that I did not like, and the Styling Hair Powder can be added to that list.I was looking to try something new for styling my hair, because my current styling paste that I use can leave my hair feeling like straw and look a bit greasy, even though it is supposed to have a matte finish. I chose Brickell's Styling Hair Powder, because it claims that it is non-greasy with a matte finish and medium hold. They couldn't have described it better.The first time I applied this product I was a little confused, because I am used to applying styling pastes or pomades, and this product is just like applying baby powder. Also, the first time I applied I waited a bit too long after my shower, so my hair was very dry and it was not as easy to apply. However, when I applied it the next time I made sure my hair was damp and it applied very easily. You only need a small amount in you hand and you just start working it through you hair. It instantly absorbs and you almost wonder if it is there at all, because it is worked in so quickly. Once you style your hair it again almost feels like there is nothing at all, but when your hair dries there is a "weighty" feeling to your hair. It was great!The product was not greasy at all and it had a matte finish and a natural feel, almost as if the product wasn't there ; however, when I went to restyle my hair after a breeze or after moving around a bit, it was easy to style and held in place. I will note that I have shorter hair, but I think this product would work well even if I had longer hair, as long as it didn't need significant styling.I highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a product that leaves your hair looking natural and non-greasy, but wants a bit of styling.

I think this is a great product. While the bottle is smaller, a little bit goes a long way and it last all day. It doesn’t make my hair feel oily or greasy and adds instant volume. Being a powder, it gives my hair a more natural look that gels or sprays can’t achieve. As always, Brickell’s uses quality products that are natural, adding more value to a great product. Overall, it works great, looks great, and made of quality products.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a product that left my hair looking natural but still provided some volume and a bit of a hold. This product certainly does that! It doesn't take much and so easy to use just sprinkle some in your hair or on your hands then spread throughout and style, which given that it keeps a natural look is incredibly simple to do. There is no greasiness to it nor does it make your hair hard and crunchy, which I hate. Even in the windy area that I live in it keeps its hold, it may blow some but once back inside a quick jostle of the hair (if it even needs it) puts it right back where you had it. Plus my hair feels healthier after using it for a little over a week now. Recommend this product for anyone looking for a natural finish and a medium hold, with a volume increase.

The Brickell hair powder is an interesting item that provides exactly what it states - easy hair styling to make your hair "fuller" and hold in place without any shine. My experience with it so far has been mostly positive. I think the powder is probably more effective for certain hair types and mine may not be the best option. I have thicker, wavier hair and I feel like I need to use quite a bit of powder to get the effects needed. I will say though, once applied, the powder does do exactly as advertised. It provides a fairly flexible hold with zero shine. Just very mild residue of the powder hold, but it's light. And it seems to hold pretty consistently all day which is great.The problem for me is that I typically like to style my hair coming out of the shower and the powder doesn't really work on wet hair. So it's a little more work for me to completely dry my hair, and then apply the powder. Sometimes the "wetter" look of a typical cream or gel hair product - for me - is a better option to get the exact look I want. And again (for me), the longer my hair gets I think the more difficult this powder will be to utilize. But I do keep my hair fairly trim and it seems to work well. The container is extremely light and portable which I also love. And once you figure out to just sprinkle it directly on your head and not in your hands to apply, it's pretty easy to use and maneuver in your hair.Overall it's growing on me, but again I do think it probably serves certain hair types better than others.
