Fossil Backpack

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect convertible backpack-purse. While this one has some flaws, it’s one of the best I’ve found so far. Ideally, I wanted a backpack that can truly convert to a handbag. Size was perfect for me, but be aware, this bag is the smaller version. Only about 9x9 overall.Pros: Leather colors are beautiful and you can’t go wrong with any of them.-Side zip pocket, fits an iPhone 14 Pro/Plus with no issues. Additionally, I would considered this a security pocket, it’s along the back of the bag, and would be a plus for traveling.- Straps easily clip in and out for backpack mode.- Zippers are all good quality, which I expect from a Fossil product.Cons:- Front pocket is a magnet. My only hesitation buying this product was that the front pocket did not have a zipper. If the bag flips upside down, items can easily fall out of this pocket. The magnet is also not overly strong and has to be snapped in place to secure.- Bag needs a second handle added on top. If using the bag as a purse, while the handle works fine, it’s located on one side of the bag, once you add weight inside of the bag, it puts stress on only one side of the handle. Overtime, I’m not sure how the handle would hold up.

I had a different, beautiful, Montana west leather concealed carry bag, but the leather isn't soft and the bag is so huge and always in the way! Plus my neck and shoulder were always sore with shoulder carry. So I sought out for a new bag to hold my little gun. And I stumbled accidentally on this! It is perfect!! Can be either cross body or backpack, and packing extra weight, even if a tiny pistol, this is soooooo much better than my other purse! I'm in love. Wish the color was slightly different, but it was on a special sale, so I bought it anyway. Still very happy!

It’s a beautiful convertible crossbody/backpack! The size & color are just what I’m looking. But definitely gotta get used to finagling with the straps when making the switch between crossbody to backpack. And I knew about this when reading reviews on Fossil’s website. But all good! I’m happy about this bag!

This bag is awesome. I personally never liked shoulder bags so am very picky about what style I purchase. Shoulder/satchels can be inconvenient and awkward then when they get filled become heavy on the neck and shoulders. This bag being able to convert into a backpack.....perfect.

Please give me a like of this is helpful...I have a history buying fossil brand purses. There are a few things to note:This specific purse is more like a light vinyl material, than the heavy leather that I'm accustomed to with a fossil brand purse. I actually like this better because it is lighter to carry than a traditional leather.The back straps on this purse are stiff. It's not as easy to just sling on to your arms using the back pack option, so I find myself carrying it more than wearing it. It would have been nice to have the straps a more traditional leather material. As it is they really are the worst feature.I purchased this purse for $100 on sale. I wouldn't have paid the full price because of the quality of the straps/leather.Neither of those things were a deal breaker for me at that $100 price point because the purse has a nice look to it and the size and Pocket placement are perfect for my needs.My Samsung Galaxy fits perfect in the back slot and is easily accessible. I like the side zipper to keep my keys secured in.

Looks good, can be converted quickly, fits 3 phones, bunch of keys, sunglasses. Understated elegance. My second purchase. Bought another one in a different color recently but that is no longer sold. Highly recommend.

Emphasis on MINI meaning it won’t hold much, which I thought was perfect for me. I don’t carry much. The leather smells good in my opinion. It’s super cute!

I love the color, the quality material and the size. I gave it only 3 stars because it wasn’t practical. The straps are awkward and takes too much thought. Two handles instead of one would have made me not care so much about the long strap. Once it’s on and you plan on keeping it on your back it’s ok.
