Conical, but not comical...
While it's not an upgrade from the default VM95E cartridge I had in my Audio Technica AT-LP120X, it does play the older records I have in my collection better, due to it being a conical design. You do lose some clarity in the high end, but there is more low end. While the low end isn't clear, it's big and makes dance and drum and bass records fun to listen to.It was easy to install - just push it onto the tone arm, screw it in place, rebalance it and you're good to go.It says the tracking force is 3 to 4g which sounds like a lot, but remember that it's a conical stylus. Less of the needle is making contact with the grooves so it requires a higher force to keep the needle from jumping out of the grooves. If you have older records, perhaps ones which skip while you are playing them with an elliptical stylus, a conical styles might play it better. It also won't wear out the grooves as fast as an elliptical stylus.

A worthy partner for the 1210s
Having recently come into possession of a pair of 1210 M3D turntables, the old Technics headshells and Stanton 500 carts were looking a bit worse for wear. I'd had good experiences with Concordes many years ago, and was pleased to see Ortofon are still making them, albeit with the Reloop logo on the side.I've got the Reloop Blacks set to 3.5g tracking force, which meant unscrewing the cylindrical 'sub-weight' from the end of the 1210 tonearm to get enough weight on there. I've got the tonearm height between 1 - 1.5, and the anti skate set to 3 (tested with a blank vinyl) as per Viperfrank's tutorial on Youtube.Anyway, they're tracking very well, sounding great, and my old vinyl collection is alive once more!

Great replacement
No fuss set up, as long as you have the correct tone arm connection. Brilliant for those that don’t want the headache of head alignment, really a plug and play replacement.Sound quality was not a massive improvement over my older stylus, but enough to make the change. Add to that the ease of replacement and it’s a no brainier for me.Stylus seems compatible with all Concorde range, so easy to upgrade later too.

Perfect
Great for the price, they are basically ortofon concordes with reloop logos so you can’t go wrong

Very Impressed
A great pickup system fitted straight on to the arm of my AT-LP-120 USB Deck and having re set the balance (3.3gm) and re calibrated the Bias . Great Sound and I am very pleased - Thanks

Poor frequency clarity
Started off great but after a few DJ gigs all the frequencies were distorted. For some reason I'm having terrible luck buying styli at the minute. My older one seems to work fine in comparison so maybe these aren't designed for DJ use?

Look great sound not as high as hoped but OK for bedroom..
Not as loud as the numark cc1 they replaced but soon get used to that and as I have the reloop 7000MK2 decks went with these but would go for a higher output next tim
