well made, easy to hold and ideal for single servings.
The best! this a replacement for one I loaned out and never got back. Perfect size ,nonstick surface performs exactly as it should, easy to clean up with a paper towel. expensive for a skillet, but worth every cent.

The perfect bacon and eggs pan
I've had my scanpan pan for several years now. It is my daily breakfast pan allowing me to cook perfect eggs any style; especially my favorite, once over easy with perfect yolks. The pans heat evenly across the bottom. Maybe not as even as the best pans, but darn good for a lightweight breakfast pan. The nonstick surface can be worn down, but only so far. You will not get tattered teflon pieces wearing up from the bottom. My pan after years of use is still non-stick, just not as slick. Cons: OK, I didn't pay an arm and a leg for my pan, but the lip is straight all around. Nice and even, but everything dribbles down the side of the pan. When I transfer an omelet to someone's plate I must wipe the side of the pan before I put it back on the burner for the next omelet. I've never had any other non-stick pan last for more than a few months even using nylon utensils. The scanpan has lasted for years and I do not distinguish which utensil I reach for. The pan is non stick which allows me to use nylon or silicone utensils without fighting stuck pieces. I just prefer the control I get with a metal utensils that do not get floppy when hot.

Fantastic non stick pans!
These are the best pans I have purchased! I have five of them. They clean up so easily, and nothing sticks to them!

Poor durability, 6 months later...
It lasted 6 months and the beautiful coating was gone. We do put it on the dishwasher but nothing crazy. I bought it specifically because it says dishwasher safe. I am very disappointed in the purchase though I had wanted to invest in a good one. We don't even cook that much! 3 times a week max...It didn't last even as long as the cheaper ones. Bought in June 2025, and now January 2026, I have to find a new pan.

Don't soak it in bleach.
I bought this pan more than 10 years ago, and for a decade of goon nonstick service, this pan gets a 5-star rating. But one word of caution-- After working well for a decade, either something stuck to the pan or the nonstick coating was damaged. I tried to clean it off, but couldn't. I knew that similar problems with enameled cast iron (like Le Cruset) could be fixed bym pouring some bleach in the pan and letting it sit overnight, and I thought that might work with Scanpan as well. BIG MISTAKE. The next morning, the nonstick lining of the pan peeled off, like the old skin after a really bad sunburn. I thought it was supposed to be some sort of permanent bond, but I guess permanent bonds can stiull be broken with the right chemical reaction. The pan's ruined now, but it was good for ovver 10 years, which is way better than any other nonstick I've owned. Just don't soak it in bleach.

Great for eggs, when you can get them!
This has been the best scan-pan I've purchased. Bought one as a gift too. A little butter is all you need to make eggs. I use this always for eggs and nothing really else. I got a second used one and looks like someone tried it on a conduction stovetop, well worth the $30 off. Works great on a gas stove.

Pan is great but arrived damaged
Pan is great, however, came in dented. Got through the warehouse so I expected something minor. Would have been nice to know it was damaged before ordering it.

Danish Design
I was introduced to this product in a high-end grocery store, whilst in Seattle. Upon my return home, I continued my search for a replacement non-stick omelet/fry pan on the web. When I read the fantastic reviews and the technical advantages this product claims, I placed an order. It was less expensive than the price in Seattle and I didn't have to bring it back in my luggage. Even though I was very careful with my previous teflon coated pans, they deteriorated over a few years of use. The first time I used my Scan(dinavian)pan, I was amazed at how non-stick the ceramic surface really is. In comparison, the eggs flipped so easily, I believe none of my Teflon coated pans worked so well, even when brand new. I recall a reviewer who complained about the rivet attachments for the handles being difficult to clean. If anything cooks onto the rivets, I simply use a soapy nylon brush designed for dishwashing, and every morsel comes off with ease. Even though this pan, unlike teflon, is dishwasher safe, I usually wash it by hand because I want it to be available when I need it. I have washed the pan in a dishwasher when it was time to run the washer. No problems after months of use. I find the ergonomically designed handle to be a pleasing design, as well. This pan gives a new definition of: "Danish-Modern Design". Scanpan Professional 8-Inch Fry/Omelet Pan

Love this pan!

I've had many frying pans over the years and this is definitely the best! It really is non-stick but lighter than my previous Gastrolux, which makes it easier to handle being 32cm. It washes easily and although it says it is dishwasher safe, I usually wash by hand.

Love it! Works reliably, washes well (even in dishwasher), non-stick, no wrap, so I am very happy indeed. Can recommed

There is nothin I dislike about the quality of this product. It cooks evenly. It is made with a new handle design. I have replaced mine 3 times. Gave on to my sister and it’s her favourite pan too! Check out their San Pan video!
