Pride Of India - Nonfat Dry Milk Powder - Protein & Calcium Rich - 1.25 lbs (20oz) Jar

My family has begun using keeping this product around for nights and weekends when we do not need to go to the grocery store. The flavor is great (we're a skim milk family). Many of the reviews seem to dislike that the product "clumps". We have not had this issue. Using glass quart bottles, we fill the bottle half full of water, add powder, shake to mix, then fill remaining quart with water and shake once more. Having tried approximately 6 other brands, we prefer this product to others because 1) taste's similar to milk purchased in store; and 2) less powder is required for mixture (0.5 cups) compared to other products--if you've ever tried mixing this stuff in a bottle you'll understand why less is better when pouring powder into a small hole.

I decided to buy this to keep on hand in case of emergency because the market kept running out of lowfat milk & I can't drink whole milk...and having no milk for my coffee is a day ruiner! I absolutely love it and haven't even attempted to purchase milk from the market since I got it. I'm about to order more. I found the best way to mix it is using a smoothie blender. When it's first mixed, it's a little frothy and I love that, because I can add flavored syrup to my coffee. It tastes just like a latte! Yum!

This milk is a lot better than others I have purchased. Mixes well and has a rich flavor

... but don’t confuse “Powder” with “Instant”. This mild substitute has buttercream in its ingredients, which means it takes longer to go into solution. (It’s NOT a coffee creamer substitute, unless you like lumps.) I always make at least 2 cups at a time, and use HOT water for half of the water to be added. I also use a bit more of this powder than the directions state (1/3 C powder to 1 C water) to achieve something closer to whole milk; but even at their recommended proportions, this does NOT look or taste like “non fat”.

I like the container to store easily but the milk is very dry and not creamy when reconstituted. While living overseas I got used to using dry whole milk for everything, especially now that I’m older when the liquid milk will spoil. The pros for this milk is it will be more stable on the shelf longer due to dryness, but the con is poor flavor. I prefer Nida milk much better.

You will really like this powdered milk. It's a great value for the money and it is not only consistent in quality, but it is great on price. We've used it in making instant hot chocolate (powdered milk, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, powdered vanilla and a little salt) and it works out wonderfully. We also love it in making a quick pudding and in cream sauces. BUY this and you won't be disappointed!

It stinks. A foul odor came from the powder, which comes from groceries or flour that is many years old. We tasted the powder, it is awful. Usually milk powder tastes very good, but this product stinks and seems prepared many years ago. When I checked to return the product, I see that the seller doesn't have return policy. Don't ever buy this product, it is waste of money and hazardous to your health. I am just going to throw it away. Such a waste!

I have a coffee business I use it for people people that are health conscious. gluten free is a top selling point. And it's good to use for your latte art on your coffee. And yum it taste nice

Nice and creamy taste

Arrived late due to covid 19 but was worth the wait.

This product impressed me. It is a great staple to keep in the pantry, incase you don't have time to run out for fresh milk. As long as it is mixed well the product is just like milk. It has no after taste and does not change the taste of hot drinks. I think it is also non fat so would also aid weight loss. Because it has no vitamin D I would not recommend instead of milk but a great substitute for any emergency or if you forget to buy.
