Definitely put it on your summer or fall reading list or pop it under the tree this holiday!

I bought this book for my 12-year-old son. Here is a review in his own words:I absolutely loved this book. I love how everything is based off reality and how it uses real technology in the story. I also like how it took place in Antarctica and how he gives you even more facts and resources at the end of the book if you want to learn more. I learned a ton while also being entertained. In addition, I learned about explorers such as Shackleton, who was notable for discovering Antarctica's secrets and for surviving by eating his own puppies (sad face). This book was funny, mysterious, suspenseful at times and had awesome characters. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Bill Nye, science, exploration and wants to learn something new about Antarctica.

I bought this book for my son as his end of the school year gift, and he loves it. Bill Nye was a huge part of my childhood, so i also read the book as i was curious about it. The story is well written, the characters are written with depth and are very likeable, and the story is well developed and keeps a good pace to keep kids interested. My son enjoyed it so much we have already pre-ordered the second book in the series. This is a great kids book and one i would recommend.

My son is 10 and still loves when I read to him at night. Bill Nye’s books are a new favorite of ours. They are educational AND fun. My son loves trying to solve the mystery as it unfolds.
