My LIFELONG search for the perfect hair gel for my baby fine, "mature" 3B hair is OVER! I will be stocking up on this because I NEVER want to ever be without it again! It beautifully defines my curls, holds them FOREVER (well at least until the next wash) and washes out easily and cleanly. No residue! I saw that many women of color have GORGEOUS results, but my hair is SO fine, I was worried it might be too heavy. Not so! Apparently this works for curls of all hair textures. For my ridiculously thin hair, I hardly have to use any (possibly 1/2 tsp or so) and gently work it through from roots to tips. It's like magic! My curls pop and don't stop.

This gel is so good! It creates such a good cast that let’s me know it’s going to last for days. I wish it had more of a vanilla scent, it’s more like sandalwood to me but I still like it. It is not sticky at all and as long as your hair is wet (not damp) your brush will glide right through. I will continue to reorder this for as long as it exists!! Update: my curls lasted for 6 days! With any other combo of products I can get maybe 3 good days in before it frizzes back up. To add, I use leave in conditioner, this gel, and hair serum (currently switching between mise en scene rose and Pantene miracle rescue).

Amazing gel! I gave this profit 4 out of 5 stars due to the amount of product received for the cost. I have a lot of hair. It is think and long and this jar only lasted for two wash-go’s. I likely will not purchase again but the scent, hold, moisture, and application was beautiful. I would recommend this product! P.s there is a gel cast (which I love) because it is an indicator that I will not have fizz for days. Also, you can get rid of a gel cast by scrunching oil in your hair. Once its COMPLETELY dry!

I want to be completely honest about my experience with this product. My hair was shedding heavily, to the point where I thought I might have to cut it. I decided to apply this gel to soaking-wet hair immediately after stepping out of the shower, and it truly lives up to its claims. This gel absorbs water exceptionally well and the more water in your hair, the better it performs. Once applied, the dripping stops and the product locks in moisture, leaving hair highly hydrated. Within seconds, my natural curl pattern began to reappear, even in areas with breakage. It revived my curls and significantly reduced shedding almost immediately. This product genuinely saved my hair. While it is somewhat expensive, the jar is a good size. That said, if multiple people are using it, it will run out quickly. The scent is wonderful, and I am very grateful this product exists. I have many positive things to say about it. However, it is important to note that this is not a styling gel for slicking down edges, they will curl back up. This is not a traditional hold gel; it is designed specifically to restore and define curl patterns. The only downside I noticed was a slight crunch once the hair dried. Aside from that, this product is a true lifesaver and works well on 4C hair. This is one of the few products that does what it says. This is my second bottle and I will continue to buy more.

First time trying this fragrance and it’s not sealed like the others I’ve purchased. It’s smells OK, but not being sealed made me not try it. The Tropical Oasis and Wild Rose both were sealed and worked well. The directions state to apply to wet hair and I did. My hair dried shiny and not hard or crunchy. My hair held up the entire day. I would recommend this product, only downside is I have enough hair density wise for four people, so I go through a jar faster than I would like.

I love this product! My curls were definitely defined. It also added moisture and shine to my hair. It’s also plant based. All the ingredients are natural which contributes to hair growth. The texture is very soft and it had a fruit smell. I had volume for days. My curls lasted for a week. I recommend it.
