VERY poor quality - fell apart almost immediately
This coat is VERY poorly made. My son wore it maybe 3-4 times and it began to come apart at the seams. We live in California and it hardly rains so this thing got very little use (still smells new and has creases from shipping!) when both sleeves began to separate from the body of the coat. It's not because it was too small on him and he ripped it moving his arms either. He is 8 and I bought the 7-8 and it was still quite big on him; we had to roll the sleeves a bit. It's a shame because it's hard to find a long rain coat for kids to keep their legs dry and my son loved it. Too bad.

Not worth the money.
We bought this raincoat for my 13yo son. The fit is ok. The coat is made really long. It goes to his calves. My daughter put it on and got into the shower to see if it was really waterproof, and it was. HOWEVER: the material is really really thin, like the cheap spillproof birthday tablecloths from the Party Store, which means the snap closures will probably rip with just normal wear and tear. No other means of holding the coat closed, so it will be useless. Also, this coat is really for boys - there are not enough snaps in the chest area, so the coat gaps open big time even around my daughter's relatively boyish chest if she moves her arms at all (I do hope she never reads this review). A child holding a backpack would probably get their shirt soaked from the gaps. So probably worth about $!0, but certainly not $25.

and she happily wore it the mountain
We ordered this for my daughter to use on a field trip. It arrived on time (so thankful, as it had to be overnighted), and she happily wore it the mountain. After a few hours there, the whole pocket ripped out of the jacket. There is no reason this should have happened, it was not treated roughly. There are no signs on the jacket of use at all, just a ripped out pocket.

Very nice raincoats
Bought a size 14/16 (in green) for my 12 y/o granddaughter who is very slim, and it fit her just right. And she has some room for growth. Very nice raincoat. Nice color, durable material. Not lightweight for very windy days. I like that the hood is attached and that the snaps in front go up over the neck which allow only the face to show so that a heavy downpour will keep her completely dry. Bought this raincoat in blue for her 10 year old brother who is slightly husky and it fit him just right also. The rains haven't started in Southern California yet, but am sure these will hold up well when they come. Happy with my purchases.

Disappointed
I ordered a green and blue raincoat, I received them quick. The raincoats WERE cute. They smell of plastic so they need to air out after taking them out of the packaging. Not a big deal, one day is enough. They are the long type of raincoats, so your kiddos will get good coverage. I definitely DON'T recommend this raincoat for any active kids. The material is very cheap and will not last a hard day of play.Pros: Long, cute and true to size.Major con's: Material is very cheap. I do not recommend this for any active child. Not durable at all.

It's like a shower curtain liner. See through vinyl, very thin.
Well, it looks pretty substantial in the photo, and it looks lined. It's not. Just the hood is lined. The rest feels like it was made out of a white vinyl shower curtain liner.The snaps line up nicely though.I bought one for my 5 year old and my 11 year old. If they last through winter, I'll be thrilled.I've bought MUCH better kids raincoats from Amazon. Slim pickings lately.

I had to return it… Was sorely disappointed :-(
For $25 I was really hoping that this raincoat would be fair and quality. While it fit my son nicely and I love the length of it, I was very disappointed to see that it was the thickness and texture of a shower curtain liner… to make matters worse the top snapped did not fasten well at all and there was a snap on the coat completely missing…

Poor quality - tore easily
The coat was cute and I had high hopes that it would last. I loved how long it was and I literally don't understand the point of short rain coats especially for kids so this coat seemed perfect. Alas it tore after 3 months as my daughter pulled to unsnap the coat it tore. Bad quality and I cant recommend it. This thing cant withstand the use of a toddler.
