Hi, I have a vitamix at home, but I really wanted something I can take with me when I travel. I make an avacado smoothie for breakfast every morning, and I don’t want my diet messed up because my destination doesn’t have a blender. I also am always reluctant to use someone else’s blender regardless, because you never know how tough or flimsy they are. This is compact enough that it can easily be added to a suitcase. It is attractive and has a filter at the top, which I think is clever for two reason. 1. I often like to add lemon to my smoothies and I hate it when a seed goes in. 2. If you are daring enough to drink directly from the blender, the filter would get rid of any ice chunks or protect you from the entire contents flying out if you accidentally press the blend button. :) I am considering buying one to keep at my office too. The instructions are not useful, but it is very easy to figure out without any instructions.

I don't know how this got so many stars. First, it has a stupid bear face or something on the lid. Second, it doesn't even chop up ice. Third, I charged it overnight and it still kept dying out on me on the first use. It's loud and barely does anything. It's no better than just shaking it. Don't waste your money. Splurge for a more powerful one.

Does a reasonable job, instructions are worthless (actual quote):"Please make that open inverted cup of juice before, do not rush to erect 90 degrees, to make blade exposed to air for a while, and 45 degrees shaking. In the case of the machine, only re boot can easily practice inverted, 2-3 times, I believe you have practiced magic juice."The world is full of native English speakers that can proof things like this (for a fee) to make this something that you can really read. This is not a cheap $5 item, at this price, I expect to get a real instruction sheet that is usable and respectable...

I took this on a bike ride today, OMG I am so glad I did! I had the fruit all cut up and put in the bottle, once I want to drink it I just put some ice I got from my take out drink and blended it away! It's so nice to have a nice smoothie on the bike ride and so fresh! I think I'm gonna get another one to put in office it would be nice to have a smoothie in office rather than coffee in the afternoon.

When I received the item it works perfect, but like a month after doing my protein shake, ot stopped and it never worked again

DO NOT OPEN THIS FROM THE BOTTOM AFTER BLENDING! Usually these things have a bottom with the blades attached so you can unscrew the cup from the base for drinking...not this one! I just dumped protein shake all over my office break room and work clothes. Perhaps there’s something in the instructions warning you of this, but the instructions are written in literally the worst English ever. It’s actually pretty funny: “only re boot can easily practice inverted, 2-3 times, I believe you have practiced magic juice.” B**ch what? Other than that, works well and motor is quiet.

I’m happy that I came across this blender that works without AC supply!! My husband and I travel and a lot with our 1yr old and this blender comes really handy to make his pureed food. The parts are easy to clean and the motor is powerful enough to make a fruit-punch or a milkshake.Sometimes I use it for myself too but this helps me feed by baby on the go. Just hope that the overall battery life runs fine since we’ve already started using it quite often.

The most important thing to k ow about this is that you can’t put the actual metal blade in the dishwasher bc it’s attached to the base (battery). So hand wash only. The cup is very small! Mine stopped working after the first full charge. In the trash it went! Don’t waste your money.
