Very Weak Hinges
I purchased this item but didn't need it for a few months so the box sat on a shelf unopened. Opened the box and tried it on the night before I planned to use it. Next day when I put it on, one of the hinges on the head strap broke. I'd had it too long to return to Amazon so I attempted to contact the manufacturer to see if I could get a replacement head strap. I received no response from emails or their web contact form. Still trying to resolve the issue but I'm very disappointed with the product and manufacturer. Aside from what I believe to be quality issues with this item, it fit well and looked like it would have functioned well for my application. Too bad I was never able to actually use it. I'll probably order a Uvex product to replace it as I've had good luck with them in the past.
